The amber museum is an interesting place. You learn a lot about the history of amber and see samples of the different kinds of coulours. Nice jewellery boutique there. Very sweet staff.

Located in a quiet side street, it would be very easy to miss, but it is well worth seeking out.
Yes, their main aim is to sell amber, but admission to the museum is free and you are under no pressure to buy.
The displays in the museum are very informative and the variety of amber on show is astounding.
The fossilized insects are worth seeing alone.

Fossils of insects captured in amber, some mosquitos - takes you back to the good old days of Jurassic Park the movie when it first came out. They also sell jewelry in the entrance level!

a place you have to visit, a lot of amber in different colors shapes and sizes. You can see big fly inside a rock of Amber that got trapped there a million years ago. Amazing.

The assistant followed us around that made me feel a bit awkward and the prices are pretty expensive for small amber pieces, personally I found the kiln on the ground floor much more interesting as well as the insects caught in the amber fragments.

Its on a side street and hard to find and if your in a rush dont bother but if you have time to spare have a look around (is free to visit also)
