This impressive building is in the very center of the town, but the outer promises more than the interior has to offer. Now I evaluate it purely from an architectural point of view. Of course it offers a place of worship and an escape from the busy town, but if you're looking for "food for your eyes" you should check out the many Orthodox churches in town. The most interesting thing that I found int the Cathedral was the plaque that commemorated the visit by the pope.
