I have stayed 2 nights in vilnius, in conti hotel.
tha building was old , not recently renovated, furniture was far away out of fashion,
small lobby, polite staff.
Breakfast was good , of good quality and amount.
but the rooms were rather depressing.
the good thing is that the hotel is near tha old vilnius center.
i would give conti hotel 4 stars , at least in comparison with other hotels i have stayed in , after 10 years of travelling across europe nad midle east.

The location is convenient for visiting the town, abiout 20 minutes walk from the centre.
The room was comfortable and the food was good. No complaints at all.

The room was small but cute and clean. It was on the top floor so it was kind of a hike to get to it. The elevator does not go to the top floor so you had to carry your bags up one flight of stairs (no big deal). The bathroom was at least as big,if not bigger, than the room itself. The TV didn't work but I was not there to watch TV. Breakfast was just okay, adequate but nothing special. The bar had only one kind of beer and your choices were either large or small. The location was excellent, close to the town plaza and right next to the Jewish getto and only remaining syngogue.

Room Tip: Call ahead to reserve a parking space. They are limited but are free if you call ahead of your stay.

The four stars are too many. Air conditioner is not enough for hot days, and we spent 7 days, 5 of them around 29º C .We got a fan that helped. The other 2 days were fresh enough for the a/c equipmet to work better. Courtains in the room are too small for the size of the windows. Closet doors were hanging out of the rail. The wake up calls are unreliable. No safe box in the room. The service bad with exception of Tatiana at the breakfast service. She was excelent.

This is a pleasant and well-run hotel on a quiet street convenient to the center of the city and only 10 min walk from the main train and bus terminals in Vilnius. The front desk staff is competent and attentive. Our room on the third floor was large and pleasant; there was no safe in the room, but some safes are available at the front desk. Some of the funnier services available at the hotel (and listed in room literature) were "a bodyguard" and "a jurist". Bottled water is not provided. The surrounding neighborhood is not great but does not feel dangerous. Based on our limited experience in Vilnius, hotels tend to be over-starred, so this is probably like a three-star hotel one would expect. Breakfast was excellent.

Room Tip: Third floor rooms are good.
