We arrived in Vilnius and spent several nights during two seperate stays. The first stay was a delight having two rooms each accomodating 3 beds. The thrird bed was in a seperate alcove room which was nice for the kids.. The rooms were clean and consistant.

One the second stay we again had two rooms. The configuration was a bit different and rooms were smaller. A roll away bed was provided this time and the rooms a little less clean. We were put what seemed like the older part of the building. During this stay the hotel we were told was filled.

Both stays the included breakfast was great.

I was spending here two nights in a room called "suite" with my family on July.

Our suite consisted of living room, bedroom and bathroom and it was equipped with a fridge and kettle. The room was nothing special: it felt old but at least it was clean. Even though "air conditioning was available in some rooms", our suite did not have it.

Service at the hotel was the worst we experienced in the Baltics. Sure the people got all the essentials done, but we did not feel welcomed with the receptionists who were not greeting us nor even looking in the eyes when speaking with them. When we did not fit through the hotel entrance with our pram, it was not the receptionist but a customer from the lobby restaurant who ran to help us after we had struggled there for a while trying to find out how to open the second door.

I bought three postcards from the desk when there was no queue but even that took maybe 10 minutes while the receptionist was all the time looking pissed off. Workers at the hotel did not understand much English either: they sure said yes for almost everything but one could not expect it meaning anything.

The location was disappointing: it was maybe a 20 minutes walk to the old town and there were pretty much nothing at all close to the hotel except an old bowling alley over the street.

There was free car parking on the street outside of the hotel but you will need a reservation to make sure it is available.

Breakfast was excellent and while paying less than € 70 per night for a two room apartment (which I would not call a suite), it still felt like a decent deal and I have no big regrets from visiting this hotel.

Just returned from a 3 nights stay in Vilnius, at the Grata Hotel. I should give the Grata for rating 5, if the hotel would have airco. Location is fine. From the central busstation, it is a bit of a walk, 25 minutes. But there is a busstop, 5 minutes walking from the hotel, in the street with the name Svitrigailos gatve. The name of the busstop is "MK Ciurlionio". So you can take there a bus to go to the central busstation, but also a bus to go to the airport. For going to the airport, it is bus 2 and it takes 12 minutes, so very easy. Price is 2,5 Lt for a ride. You pay at the driver. The hotel is in a nice environment and the 15 minutes walk to the old city is nice too. You pass an IKI supermarket if you need some drinks or picnic. We were lucky that we had a room at a corner of the hotel. So our room was really big and we had a terrace. There were no seats on the terrace, but we asked for an extra chair and 5 minutes later, we had it. Temperature was very high, more than 30 degrees Celsius, when we were in Vilnius. Because of the lack of airco, it was very hot in our room. We were lucky, to be possible to sit on our terrace in the evening and in the morning, to cool a bit off. Room was very clean and had all comfort, minibar, TV, waterboiler, tea and coffee were given every day, hairdryer...Breakfast is lovely, a lot of choice and the smoked salmon is just delicious! The whole hotel is very clean and quiet. Receptionists are kindly and correct. There is a free PC for guests, So we liked the hotel and it is just a pity, it has no airco.

Room Tip: Ask for a big room with terrace, at a corner of the hotel.

We spent weekend with family in Vilnius. This is a lovely hotel in quite district. The rooms are large, clear, for 10 eur additional bed for children. Breakfast was excellent , a plenty of food on "Swedish table" .
There is sauna and pool 4 m diameter aprox. The parking is not so large, some places are at the front of hotel, same are 30 m further.

Room Tip: All rooms are quite.

Grata is nice beautiful hotel to stay with family or friends. It is not far from city center with good atmosphere, excellent service, clean rooms and enjoyable breakfast. I have stayed there two years in a row and I am sure I will come back next year.

Grata Hotel has everything just right. Stunning rooms, great service, and superb food in a terrific ambiance, this was all just lovely. The food and staff were fantastic. It was really a pleasure to stay with such lovely people. No complaints, they don’t need any kind of improvement in any field. Just keep the good work going! Highly recommended.
