A cozy place in the Old Town.
All the attractions in a walking distance.
Room was large and comfortable.
Extremely comfortable bed!
Nice and helpful staff.
Our daughter loved the pool.
Next time will stay longer than 1 night.

It was our first time in Lithuania and we were lucky to stay in such a beautiful place. An authentic building and sophisticated design create an absolutely special atmosphere. Our room was gorgeous, very spacious, with two bedrooms, two wardrobe rooms, a four-poster bed and antique furniture.

The space around lobby is very cozy and brilliantly designed: there are different areas where you can have a meeting or a drink. There is a nice bar with very good coffee, an open glass terrace filled with antique furniture and super-comfortable chairs and an inner garden. There is also a conference room. So I think, this hotel is perfect both for business and vacation. The location is walking distance from all the major tourist attractions, at the same time the place is very quiet.

The Tavern has a very good local cuisine, you are strongly advised to try local potato 'draniki'. The other option for food is the Stikliai Restaurant, where you will enjoy a menu created by Michelin star chef. The decoration there is another discovery - with an open glass ceiling and tropical plants the space just looks wonderful. The buffet breakfast was very good too.

There is a spa and an experienced massage therapist at the hotel.

On top of all, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We just felt at home at Stikliai, our stay in Vilnius perfect. We would love to come back!

10 years ago, it was by far the best hotel in the city, with great location, lovely building, nice interior, good restaurant. Well deserving to be part of Relais & Chateau network.
Unfortunately, it was 10 years ago and while the location is still among the best, everything else has significantly downgraded - rooms are oldish, breakfest area strangely squeezed to three smallish rooms and a corridor on the ground floor, breakfest itself while large not very attractive. At the same time several new hotels have opened over the past years in Vilnius - so unless Stikliai does some major improvements, it will only go down in the ranking...

Stayed here for a couple nights as part of a trip through the Baltics. Liked the staff and found the hotel to be comfortable. The location is great to see the old part of the city. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of options.

Stikliai Hotel

Stikliai means glass in Lithuanian and the Stikliai Hotel is a converted glass factory in the heart of Vilnius' old district. The building features a dramatic thirty to forty foot high glass ceiling in its main restaurant. Hanging and tropical plants line the room's soffitt, giving it an elegant, yet warm feeling. The interiors are decorated in modernized baroque and Italianate style furniture with deeply upholstered chairs and comfy king mattress with beds. The rooms have ample space for resting and luggage storage. The bathrooms feature white marble tiles, gold-tone fixtures and over-sized soaking tubs. Views aren't great, but the interior of this hotel is so pretty you might not mind missing the view.

Service at the hotel is stellar. We didn't need much, the rooms are well appointed and cleaned a few times a day. But, when we did need something, the staff was extremely accommodating and happy to help. The breakfast buffet is what one would expect of a five star northern European hotel. Smoked fish, cured meats, tomatoes and cukes, a few hot items, various cereals, pastries and breads, yogurts, and of course, fresh fruits and preserves. The food is well prepared and the cappuccino is rich and smooth.

We also ate one dinner at the hotel. We chose to eat at the tavern, the less expensive option. My husband had mussels and I had a aubergine stuffed with ricotta. Our server was attentive – not hovering, but there when we needed him. The food was tasty. Dinner for two which consisted of two appetizers, two main courses, three beers (by the way, Walker's Beer is excellent) and an after dinner digestive drink cost us about $65. This was by far the most reasonable sit down, formal meal we had in the northern Baltic region.

Room Tip: 1) Windows don't offer great views, so pick a room on the second floor, which open up to the gorgeous conservatory. 2) If you choose to eat dinner at the hotel, we found the tavern an less expensive alternative to the main dining room. Food is prepared by the same staff and for less than half the price.
