The rooms are pretty basic, and if you do not like street noise, you must ask for a room on the back of the hotel facing the parking lot. There was a flat screen TV. The only English channels were CNN and BBC news, with several "pay" channels for English movies. The breakfast is good although lines can be long if you arrive just as a large tour group is there. The buffet included scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, sausage and bacon, fried potatoes, cold salami and cheese, tomato, olive and cucumber, and excellent fresh bread and rolls. There was also cold cereal and muesli, with milk or yogurt, some fresh fruit salad and some canned fruits, and a good coffee machine. Breakfast was included in my rate, but possibly not in all rates. The hotel offers WIRED internet in most rooms, and wifi in the conference rooms and lobby. On the 7th floor (the "business" floor) there is wifi in the rooms, but those cost 20 euros more per night. The regular rooms have a minibar but no in-room coffee. All rooms have the heated bathroom floors that many people like. Bathroom amenities in the regular rooms are extremely basic - tiny bars of soap, and shower gel/shampoo in a wall-mounted dispenser in the tub. The bathroom was roomy and very clean. Beds were comfortably firm, pillows good. Adequate reading light on both sides of the bed. There was an adequately lighted desk/work space, desk chair, easy chair, small table and a sofa, along with a queen-sized bed. Curtains/drapes were thick enough to block the early Baltic sunrise (c. 4:30 am). The front desk staff was friendly and courteous, and provided an excellent restaurant recommendation in the neighborhood. There is supposedly a business center and a fitness center but I did not try either one. The main downside to this hotel is that it is quite a jaunt to the historic and charming old part of Vilnius. The main advantages are that it is of predictable Holiday Inn quality, and has a good breakfast.
