We went to the branch on the quiet street of Augustijonu, which was attached to a yoga ashram. It was a quiet night, and we were served promptly by the waitress. After a busy day sightseeing, it was very relaxing (almost like a spa!).

The food was delicious - a mix of Indian food like 'pies' (aka Samosas/bhajis), and more Baltic fare like dumplings. We really enjoyed our meal and the very calming atmosphere. There was a nice courtyard out front where we would've sat if it were a little warmer!

Very disappointing to go all the way to find this place and find out it is closed during official opening times...especially since vegetarian food is a rarity in the Baltic Countries.

There are two Vegafe restaurants, and both are excellent. We found the one on Augustinjonu (a block or two off of Didzioji) to have a larger menu and to be a bit more consistent. We were in Vilnius for two weeks and ate at one of the two branches almost every day--the menu was large enough for us to keep trying new things--and the non-vegetarians we brought with us found plenty to satisfy them. The vegetarian versions of the the local dishes (the potato pancakes and the beet root soup) were inventive and delicious. The service was attentive at both restaurants, but the waitress at the Augustinjonu restaurant, who was there every day we went, was kind and efficient and delightful.

Finding good vegetarian food in Lithuania can be a challenge.
Luckily for me, this one was just around the corner from my hotel (Novotel).
It is on a quiet Totoriu street, just off the main Gediminas street. I had pumpkin soup here once and the second time salad with palak paneer. Fresh, flavourful, simple, inexpensive, but with good quality. Highly recommend. And next door there is a raw food restaurant called Raw Raw, just in case you want to pop in for a lovely shake.

Went to their place in totoriu for lunch with friends. They have a nice selection of international vegetarian dishes. A great place if you're a vegetarian, or if you want to have a healthy meal! The atmosphere was really nice - bright and airy. The food was tasty.
