If you are the vegan this place is just for you. But if not, it is worth to try, but after some time you realize that there are too much nuts in everything.

First, I have to make a confession: I LOVE THIS PLACE! Therefore, questions like "when did you visit?" and "who did you go with?" are irrelevant to me as since it first opened on the 1st September 2010 I was visiting this place every single day at some point, both alone and with friends (many of them are non-vegans, not even mentioning the raw:)). In fact, they care so much, that when one day I did not show up, the waiter was wondering if I'm OK? :)

Why do they care so much? The answer is simple: RawRaw is a family business. The owners - Olga & Victor - are the most pleasant people! Elena (daughter) and Roman (son) are helping as waiters sometimes. Olga herself is often in the kitchen (which is open-plan, by the way, so you may through a look at the process or just say "hello";)).

Aesthetics and ambiance are impeccable! Subtle background music, small space (only 5 tables in one room - which makes it cozy - and a bar in another), neutral colors, great paintings, quality tableware & cutlery, good selection of books (both on the healthy lifestyle and otherwise educational, like "A brief history of time" by Stephen Hawking) and many other little details which makes this place really special!

Now the food part. I won't give any specific recommendations as I honestly believe that this could spoil your individual journey into this raw food heaven! Just keep in mind that if a main course is named "Ravioli" or "Couscous" - don't expect to get one! :) What you will get will be made of raw (uncooked) vegetables, nuts & seeds! So, let your imagination do its job before you get the plate with a raw vegan masterpiece!

For a full a la carte dinner which would include juice/smoothie (2 to 3 euro), starter (salad or soup - 2 euro), main course (3 to 5 euro), tea (1,5 euro) & dessert (2 to 3 euro) expect the bill to be between 10 and 15 euro.

So, when in Vilnius, you must, I repeat, must visit RawRaw regardless of your dietary requirements. It is an experience in itself!
