Not the traditional Lithuanian style, or food, but a contemporary feel in an old building. The entrance is not great but once inside things are much better. The food is excellent and well presented, a mainly Mediterranean inspired menu. Waitresses are attentive, polite and speak good English. They are knowledgable about the menu and are happy expand on details. This is a popular place with locals, always a good sign. It gets busy and you may need to book but it is worth it. I ate here a few times over several months in Vilnius and the quality was always good, a favourite place to go.

We had a dinner with a group of 10 in the Kitchen, in the separé. Although we were separated from the main room - which was very subservient in letting us lead lengthy conversations - we could definitely see that this is a favourite place of the 25-30 year old upper middle class. Elegant, lively people filled the place and chatted happily.
The decor is friendly - really resembling the atmosphere that of a kitchen. In summer you can sit on the balcony overlooking Rotušės aikštė, infored us our local friends.
Food was innovative, fresh and tasty, served without delay and with politeness.
The only negative things to be mentioned: wine was a bit too cold, but it warmed up quickly under the heat of the horrible lamps. The chairs were very uncomfy, too.
I liked the lamps in the toilet - there are NO lanps, only a fully lit up ceiling, cool.

Set in an upstairs airy room, this place proved excellent for a lunch in between sightseeing. The food was well prepared, healthy and delicious and the service helpful. This is a young place but sophisitcated enough to impress while being very good valur

The dishes were simple yet interesting, with ingredients that were fresh. The atmosphere was clean, but not sterile, with some high communal tables, traditional tables, and food service at the bar. It had a neighborhood feel to it, but very continental - not the traditional, heavy Lithuanian dishes.

Kitchen is on the second floor in a building on the main street of the Vinius Old Town. It feels like a contemporary kitchen with high tables and sleek white décor. It has a bit of a Mediterranean flavor with a lot of “comfort food” variety—salad, soup, pasta, risotto and meat. We had fennel and goat cheese risotto, carbonara pasta , a Cote du Rhone and an excellent tarte tatin. Everything was delicious. Service was attentive. Prices for wine and food, reasonable. Would return.
