stayed for one night with work and it was very pleasant, I would go back and recommend it. stayed at the Jasmine before which is more modern but i think the breakfast here was much nicer.

Until recently this was our favorite hotel in Kosice. Centrally located, clean, nice
staff and good dinning.
Our last visit was quite disappointing starting from breakfast that was below their
regular standard, it looked like previous night wedding/party leftovers, food
trays were not freshened, little bread and rolls. When one pays 12 Euro for breakfast
Coffer should be fresh and not from a machine.
As hotel's house guests we were always granted 20% reduction for dinning at hotel to
our astonishment we were told this benefit is no longer available.
Taking into account no elevator and crazy noise during weekend from parties and weddings held at the hotel until very late, the Royal Garden will no longer be our favorite hotel. After midnight I complained about the loud music I was told
come to reception and will change your room. MY QUESTION Should I came with a Pyjamas or without??

Room tip: ask for low floor room, help with luggage, room close to reception

As Kosice/Kassa is very close to Budapest, we made a weekend here. The hotel is very close to the main walking road-5 min - located in the centre of the town. There are privat car parking places too. The hotel very cosy, nice and clean. We got a room in the 3rd floor, it was quit big, a little bit old fashion furniture, but bed was good and the room was very clean. The breakfast is very variable, good foods and you can drink normal coffee too! There is a wellness in the hotel in the “celar”, it is really awesome, small but you have to reserve a time when you wanna go. Clean, warm atmosphera and clean, too.
Staff are nice and helpful. So highly recommend to stay in this hotel!

The only reason I can't give 5 star rating is the lack of an elevator.
There are spacious and well appointed suites. The buffet breakfast is also better than in any of the chain US 4* hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated in the old town in walking distance to all city attractions with plenty of great restaurants and pubs close by.

Room tip: Get a suite!

Perfect location, near to the city centre - 3 min by walking. The hotel is situated in an old building. We had a spacious room on the 2nd floor. If you have more luggage with you take a room on lower floor as there is no elevator.
Room was clean but you can feel that it has something behind.
In the morning the smell from the kitchen/or breakfast came to our room so I close the windows but it was too late. So we had a breakfast smell during whole morning inside.
Unfortunately we missed the breakfast so we did not have the opportunity to taste them.
The lady at the checkin/checkout was nice, helpful and friendly.

Room tip: we smell the kitchen in the morning, no elevator
