Food was very reasonably priced and tasty. Only drawback is the difficult to negotiate stairs - not for older people.

Very atmospheric pub in the heart of town, and like a cavern with all sorts of interesting rooms to drink and eat in! The sister pub is very nice too.

Good food.....not over priced....
Good Value for money...
Very lively.....lots of happy people and very unique rustic setting. It's a great place to relax and have a cold beer with some great local food.
Would recommend this place to anyone!!!!

We went here yesterday with my parents on a day trip from Vienna, and I was happily surprised. On the outside, it looks a bit tourist - anything that says "#1 Slovak Pub" in English is food for caution. But, boy was I wrong! This pub, while definitely catering to the English crowd, doesn't make you feel like a tourist (despite the rather conspicuous rap-music in the background), with cozy wooden furniture, fireplaces in some of the rooms, and mellow chatter from fellow patrons. The waitress was fast, friendly, and spoke perfect English. I felt really like I was in an originally, cozy pub. The food was cheap and awesome. I got a huge breadbowl filled with garlic soup - and it was not made from garlic powder!! Whew for real garlics! It was only 4 euros, and most of the other dishes were no more than 8. The beer was cold and delicious, and there were plenty of bathrooms. Don't worry about finding a seat, because there are a ton of hidden away rooms in the back. Plus, if you're a slovak student, they offer SUPER cheap discounted meals - I would totally go here if I lived in Bratislava!

The quality of the food was not good, the waiters are just students and they seems like they absolutely have no interest in the customers. I have visited this place couple of times because of the atmosphere and friends, but everytime I enter I am expecting the worst. Usually my expectations are met.
