Not the Slovaks fault (blame the Soviets), but the town is smaller than any capitals close by (Prague, Budapest, Vienna) but it has it's charm and it's not overrun which is sorely underrated in my view.

DeceDecent day walk. Little piece of history with fair amount of beautiful historic sites
Pizza here is also decent. Can be covered in one short day

very compact easy walking for bars and resteraunts. They were setting up for xmas market on our departure. Take the city tour on the old style bus to the castle , as a bit of a hike if you walk

having stopped here after a trip to Prague we were greatly surprised how quaint and cute it was, it was a pleasure to have the Christmas markets open and running also. Lots of history to see here also.

It is a beautiful square cobbled stoned alleyways along and lots to see.
It is buzzing with tourists and hawkers with carts and restaurants.
The sights are sweet and the town hall with the tapestries museum is worth a visit!
