Owner description: Historic neighborhood filled with charming narrow lanes, burgher's houses and nobles' palaces in addition to many of the city's important buildings such as the former Palace of the Hungarian Estates, the late-Gothic building of the Academia Istropolitana and the Leopold de Pauli Palace where Franz Liszt performed as a child.

Something in Slovakia for everyone. Bratislava has great places to eat and drink, old buildings ,Castles and the Danube runs through it. There is sport for everyone ,horse racing ,car racing, bike racing,

We were on an escorted walking tour through Bratislava Old Town recently. We found the area to be very clean and very scenic and the restaurants looked great. I'd recommend it for a very nice afternoon walk.

The Old Town of Bratislava is well well worth visiting. However, I would recommend getting a guided tour because we found it quite hard to find our way around.

With not much tourist around, the old town of Bratislava is relatively smaller if you compare to prague. A few souvenir shops which close down 6-7. Most restaurants and bars are open though till late at night since people seem to like meeting and eating dinner together. Prices are quite reasonable. We ate in one of the restaurants with and paid only around 20 EUR for 2 people.

it always amazing to see how wonderfully preserved some of the towns have been saved from the ravages of war, but this little town is well kept and growing stronger. we strolled though beautiful tree lined boulevards and met craftspeople who were delighted to talk to you..
