Owner description: Historic neighborhood filled with charming narrow lanes, burgher's houses and nobles' palaces in addition to many of the city's important buildings such as the former Palace of the Hungarian Estates, the late-Gothic building of the Academia Istropolitana and the Leopold de Pauli Palace where Franz Liszt performed as a child.

The Old Town of Bratislava is easily explored on foot. It contains lots of picturesque cobbled little lanes with many cafes, shops, restaurants and bars.

Lots of beautiful shops, beautiful architecture and a variety of places to eat. Not big on customer service in Bratislava, i suspect this is due to its history. The food isn't exactly cheap, but if you can track down events that are happening in the area you may get a cheap feed. The fish festival was on and so i got 5 soups for 5 Eur. Yummo.

Beautiful small little town but full of everything you need! Bars, clubs, shopping, lots of places to sit and eat. Especially good in the summer in warm weather ;)

So brilliant to just wander in the little narrow streets and stumble on surprising cafe and shops. It's all dating back hundreds of years and make sure you wander into some of the courtyards near michaels gate

It is quaint, feels very safe, with beautiful architecture. There are a number of very amusing statues that not only look good, but you can walk up to them, have photos taken and actually gt close & personal - unlike the usual City Centre Statues.
