Location of this hotel really is ideal for a short stay exploring the city's historic centre. It's only 200 meters away from a stairway leading down to the old town. It's also 300 meters from a bus stop where the No. 93 can be picked up for the 10 minute trip to the main rail station.
Our room was small and clean, and WiFi was good. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK, except that the ground coffee machine was out of action with no sign of repair or replacement, and the substitute instant coffee provided was foul. Reasonable 'pod' coffee could be procured from the bar, with a bit of effort and the help of a friendly staff member. There was no helping the toaster, however. You could grow old waiting for it to do its job.
Overall we thought that this hotel was OK, if a bit expensive, but the coffee issue let it down in the breakfast room. More
