From the moment of arrival to the last breakfast this hotel experience was a treat.
On arrival, whilst booking in,a drink is offered and you are directed to your room.
The room, although just a superior double, was immaculate. The mini bar hosts a complimentary half bottle of their own wine ,a couple of beers and soft drinks .Weather permitting you can consume these on a nice little summer terrace.
The bar is called The Library and is tastefully designed and peaceful.
Although we did not take dinner at the hotel, the menu looked very good, and the breakfast, a huge range of hot and cold dishes, was excellent and with a glass of prosecco if you wished.
The service and attitude of the staff stood out even above this!
The hotel is located an easy ten minutes stroll from the bars and restaurants of the old town and although there isn't a massive amount to do,Vienna is only a short boat or train trip away and compared with similar hotels there this hotels is outstanding value.

A lot of the little details that make a hotel better than average have been thought of. The suite we had gave us access to an outside sitting area and a small lounge area. Satellite TV, CD/DVD player, Bose wave radio, perfume sampler all set a good standard. The air con rattled all night even when turned off though. Food in the restaurant impressed with it's presentation and tasted good. Service was willing and smiley but a little amateur. At breakfast things ran out, like no plates or bowls, staff had to be asked to replenish them. They will get there though. The decor everywhere is great, sort of 1930's rich persons home. The bar is best of all and should be tried.

We highly recommend this Hotel: it is just a block from where the boat from Vienna docked & from the historic old town. We were given a welcome drink upon arrival & they even got us in our room early. They are generous with trivial issues which in other hotels can drive one crazy. For example, free wifi with no password, free min bar, free breakfast & free drinks (bottled water) on the terrace. there is even a small work out room. Oh and the dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent!

A very cosy place located close to the historical centre of the city. We stayed here for 3 nights. The friendly staff, the choice of welcome drinks on arrival, the spacious rooms with luxury beds, tea/coffee maker, TV, radio, complimentary minibar and organic cosmetics and the excellent location made our stay in Bratislava a real pleasure. i would recommend this place without any hesitation. And, yes,I'll definitely stay here if I were to visit Bratislava again

Super friendly reception very welcoming, choice of drink on arrival, quick efficient check in. Great room with all the bells and whistles. FREE mini bar. Beautiful luxury bedding, satellite TV with over 100+ channels. Amazing Spa with solarium, large jacuzzi pool, steam room, tanning booth and slimming machine. Dinner in the restaurant excellent, service amazing! Bar and library in one - super service.

Room Tip: All rooms are great, but one with a balcony would be a bit more special

We stayed there one night after reading the raving reviews and seeing the very reasonable price. We will definitely come back! I've never seen such friendly staff and attention to detail: from the free drink (juice, wine, sekt or beer) while the reception fills in the official documents for you, to the complementary minibar, water boiler and tea and coffee in the room, the all-organic cosmetics in the bathroom and the free internet everywhere in the hotel.
The rooms and bathroom were spotless, the roof terrace with self-service ice water very quiet and refreshing. Only dark spot, the breakfast buffet was not great: quality of the ingredients could definitely be improved.

Rooms with a romantic-country-Laura-Ashley decor - with a lot of furniture pieces crammed into very few square meters; beautiful but not practical for having an open suitcase anywhere. Quiet rooms, good mattresses, top functioning internet connection, available pc's and printers for free, truly world class breakfast. The hotel is located in a very quiet street, 3 minutes walk from the old town and 8 minutes from the chill out area (and shopping center) Eurovea. Really nice courtyard with free mineral water (though the tap water here is equally good). The staff are nice and always smiling - however when you need transport to Vienna airport do not ask for their assistance; they will book you a cap for 60 euro, instead of the 50 euro on the internet or the 7.2 euro per person with the non stop bus service.
Free minibar in the rooms, yes - but don't get all exited, for a double room this means: 1 beer, 1 coke, ½ bottle of white wine and 4 bottles of water.

Room Tip: Choose a top floor room facing the quiet courtyard - nobody is out there in the evening/night.

Dear Guests,

Thank you for your recent stay at Marrol's Boutique Hotel and your contribution with a review on TripAdvisor. We value each individual feedback and your complimentary remarks are a great source of inspiration and improvement for us.

I was delighted to read that you have enjoyed the hotel facilities including the summer terrace with complimentary beverages, the room décor, proximity to the most popular spots in the city as well as the breakfast and service by our staff. We have reviewed your comment on the transfer arrangements to Vienna airport and are assured to share with you that the standard price for a hotel limousine provides a guaranteed quality of service and comfort in comparison to deals available on-line or the bus link available to public.

It would be a pleasure to welcome you back to our hotel in the near future.

Kind regards,

Monika Slobodova
