Visiting Bratislava you may want to take the boat to Vienna for a day. The hydrofoil takes around 90 minutes each way. This Russian boat is good, but a bit noisy and does not offer much of a view when you go along (you sit quite low in the boat). There is a small shop on the boat, but the choice is quite limited, but cheap.
It is suggested you buy ticket beforehand as the number of seats are limited. Alternatively you can take the train to Vienna. That will probably save you 30 minutes each way.
