I would say, definitely do it because it's an interesting feeling being at the border between countries and taking in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic with one sweeping glance. I didn't pay myself so I don't know how much it cost, but it is a very interesting structure: ugly but intriguing and sitting in such stark contrast to the castle opposite. The views are great, but you aren't allowed to have a coffee in the best seats as they are reserved for diners - even when the place is completely empty off season!! So much for the customer always being right. I think this is one of those things you should do though, in view of the history and geography of the city.
