After a first good impression (completely new, modern design, clean) reality kicked in.
This hotel is an example of poor management and terrible service.
The front office is staffed with only one person, who is handling all incomming calls, parking questions so the check-in is a matter of 20 minutes waiting and listening to appologies.
The only person for 1 hour in the lobby bar answers orders with one sentence: "Sorry, I'm not allowed to make you coffee".
When trying to get some food in the evening, nobody knows if the kitchen is open or not (8 p.m.)

I stayed here for 1 night while on a business trip. The hotel is a little difficult to find, access to the parking garage is down a little side street and my GPS got a little confused a couple of times. The hotel interior is visually impressive with a large, modern open plan lobby with a bar in the corner, check in was quick even though they admitted the computer was down and they were having to do everything manually. My double room was huge with a large bathroom and a large size LCD TV so no complaints. The security in the hotel is very good, you cannot take the lift past the lobby floor without flashing your key card at a scanner in the lift. The best thing about the hotel is the location, it is right on the edge of old town pedestrian zone so we didn't eat dinner in the hotel, we walked into the old town and had dinner and a few drinks. Fast wireless internet access was free throughout the hotel for guests and was easily accessible. Breakfast was included in my room rate and was very good, a big choice of both hot and cold items all served buffet style with the option of a fresh cooked omelette if I wanted.
My only gripe was that there was no water supplied in the room, if I am paying 120 euro a night for a room I would not expect to pay for still water from the minibar, a couple of small bottles of water in the room would be appreciated

I stayed at the Austria trend for the second time for business and had a good experience once again. The airline had lost my luggage and the friendly & efficient staff were helpful in dealing with the problem.

Location is great, rooms are spacious, well decorated and clean. Check in and check out was efficient.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on a business trip.
Location is very close to old town and right at a pedestrian zone with several cafes and restaurants.
Hotel is very modern, airy lobby with lots of seating for meetings.

Room:
Room was also very modern, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The only weird thing is that part of the wall between bathroom and bedroom is made of glass. And right the part next to the toilet seat. If I would stay there with my partner I would use another toilet.....

Breakfast buffet was ok while not very big. Staff at breakfast seemed to be very unmotivated. From 4 juices in a machine 3 were empty and orange juice was nearly emtty. Omlet station was unmanned during my entire breakfast.

Oberall, good value for the money, good location, modern rooms. If you do not expect 5 star quality this is a nice place to stay.

Room Tip: View to the little side street

We`ve stayed at the hotel this July for a week with two kids. The hotel is new, our room was spacious. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. I don`t know why but only one socket in the room was working, so we needed to have turns in order to charge our gadgets. Breakfast is very good, but coffee is always cold and not tasty. We had to order normal coffee from the bar, or just drink it outside the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel is really good for what it`s worth and nicely located in the center. We had to buy a new stroller for our baby as the airlines lost it (but then found it in a day) - so we have donated it to the hotel. Now they should have a Premaman stroller available for guests. :)

Room Tip: Corner rooms have a great view on the street

We stayed in the Austrian Trend Hotel Bratislava over the Weekend

The Hotel is centrally located in the north end of Bratislava’s Old Town. We arrived by boat coming from Vienna and it took us about 10 minutes per feet from the Danube river.

Check-in was fast and efficient, on arrival they offer upgrade to Executive room for 29 Euro and Junior Suite for 39 Euro per night (larger room including free Minibar and excess to the Executive Lounge). We stayed in a Standard Room which was nice and modern furnished, free wifi, and a braod range of tv channels. The only thing which was missing and normally be expected in a 4 star hotel, were coffee and tea making facilities in the room.

The breakfast which was included in our rate, offered the usual choice of some warm dishes and the typical continental selection of some cereals, different types of bread and sweet and salty garniture like cheese, ham, marmalade, honey, nutella and so on. Breakfast was average for a 4 star hotel, but what I really disliked was the coffee which was less than tasty and the poor selection of fruits which where all canned and not fresh.

All staff where nice and friendly and overall I can recommend this hotel when you get a good rate!

The only drawbacks and the reason why I don’t give a better than average rating are the mentioned breakfast issues and the missing coffee making facilities in the room, which both are normally no issues in a 4 star hotel.

I was on a business trip to Bratislava and this hotel was recommended to me by my colleagues. It is a modern hotel with a very good location, whether you want to go site seeing or you need to do some buisness in down town. Rooms are nicely decorated and fit for both business and leisure travelleres, as there is free WiFi connection in all rooms (not only in the lobby). Bathroom is very modern but with a shower cabin that is no devided from the rest of the bathroom so you can have some water flowing out. There were fitness and sauna facilities where my wife spent her free time while I was on the business meetings. There is also a number of shops, bars and restaurants near by as the hotel is very near to the Old town and Bratislava castle (both within walking distance) and is on the top of shopping Obchodna street which is also a pedestrian zone. There is a wide choice of different foods for breakfast, so even if you stayed for a week you would have a variety to choose from. In total, good value for money and great location. Recommendation deserved.
