The Kempinski Hotel in Bratislava is of a very high standard. The staff are very helpful, the breakfast is one of the most extensive and best and the rooms are large and comfortable.
The Hotel is a good walk from the centre but certainly not 2 miles as mentioned in some reviews. Probably a 10 to 15 min walk. There is a complimentary Rolls Royce to take you to the town once a day which is a great idea.
They arranged a limo to take us back to the train station which was a BMW 7 series and Euro 15, which was good value compared to the Euro 22 rip off by a rail station based taxi on arrival in Bratislava (for a 10 min journey).
The 11th floor has a very nice swimming pool, gym, spa etc. all included. Very impressed.
This is very much a business hotel and it was very popular with business visitors, but also a good place to relax.
