For the one day we visited Bratislava, we wanted to do a tour. What better way than a tour with food!

At the introduction we got a nice starter for welcoming us. We liked all the food presented to us, there is a nice variation of meat, pastries and drinks.
Along the way we got a lot of explanation. We walk a little, but it didn't seem like a hard nor heavy walk since we have many stops. This made it feel like very relaxed even though we actually walked a pretty long distance.

At the end we received a nice gift and a whole list of everything we tried.

All in all, this is something we'd recommend to everyone!

This food tour was incredible. The perfect mix of food, drink, history, and walking! The food was unique - it felt like we really got a glimpse into eating like a Slovakian. There was such a great variety and portions were perfect. We also loved the bags given at the end with traditional snacks, and we’re definitely going to try cooking some of the recipes at home. Thank you so much, Bratislava Food Tours! What a perfect way to spend a day in Bratislava!

Our guide Paulina was an amazing hostess today! We were enchanted to start our tour with a delicious picnic on the castle esplanade overlooking the Danube. Over the next 4 hours we visited 5 food outlets and sampled: delicious creamy potato dumplings with smoked tofu and to drink communist coke! Grandmothers plum sorbet and green tea ice cream, raw pea soup, vegan foie gras followed by potato rosti cake and raw veggie pancake roll. We ended this brilliant day with coffee, poppy seed cake and cinnamon cake. Blackcurrant wine and blueberry liqueur was also on the menu!

Wonderful food but the icing on the cake was Paulina who was so engaging and shared lots of information about food, culture and life in Slovakia. We would highly recommend this tour!

Our guide from Bratislava Food Tours was simply outstanding... from our first 5 minutes - sampling his Grandmother's special blackberry brandy to dessert with an amazing view of the city, it was informative, entertaining, and of course delicious.

Our guide introduced us to amazing Slovakian cuisine to include soup, dumplings, sweets, and of course beer as well a very special soft drink called Kofala a rival of Coke and Pepsi!

We are thrilled to have had the experience and whole-heartedly recommend visitors to Bratislava take advantage of this opportunity. It is a MUST DO!
