Coming from Australia to see the sights of Budapest and surrounds, Pap Sziget was perfectly placed on the serene Danube. A little rustic but we're used to camping in Oz and who wants to spend their holiday maintaining the sparkle in the cabin? So friendly & hospitable, even when gearing up for a busy European holiday season. So happy our adult travelling son & daughter were able to book neighbouring cabins with lots of smiles to bridge the language barrier & a couple of good eateries close by.The charming little town of Szentendre is a healthy walk away with many more. Wouldn't suggest a cabin with the stairs for very small children or the kitchen for a cordon bleu chef but plenty of space for bigger kids to play or chill out & warm clean beds. I'll remember the trees & sunsets for many years to come. Thank you.
