We spent a weekend in a Spa next Eger so it seemed obvious to visit the Castle. It took us a lot effort to find the right way to the entrance: the signs misdirected us. When we finally find our way it turned out that the whole downtown was under construction caused a severe pain in the ankle. Yet we thought it worth the visit. At the gates you have to pay entrance fee which is fine if most of the exhibitions are admissable. The fee was 1100 HUF each and you can visit the gothic inner castle for this price. All the other attractions are aviable for extra fee and we skiped them. The whole castle was rundown and under construction. The inner site is maintenceless and does not worth it.
