Kashmir is one of my favorite restaurants worldwide, period! I've spent a total of about a month in Hungary this year and have eaten here more than a dozen times. The food never ceases to disappoint and is amazingly good - I don't think I've ever had anything that I've not enjoyed. My favorite dishes are their aloo baigan (potato & eggplant), butter chicken, korma and lamb vindaloo. Their naans and rice dishes (tho' I've never tried the biryani) are spectacular, and they have fresh lemonades that are to die for. Appetizers such as samosas are excellent as well. Their gulabs are the only thing that I don't rank up there with the rest of their cuisine, but is still decent.
Their ambiance is warm and inviting and when not crowded or noisy, it can be romantic. Best thing is they deliver for free (with a minimum order, and I'm not certain about distance). However, the only primary issue with Kashmir is the slowness of service, so if you're calling in an order, most of the time, expect to wait about an hour for delivery. If you dine in, definitely alot at least 2 hours for your meal. The restaurant is pretty small, and they usually only have 2 servers staffing it. Is the meal worth waiting for - if you have the time - definitely!
