Different subjects walking tours available. Guides will discuss anything about history culture etc, so there is something for everyone.

We did the combination culinary and history tours. Zsofi, our guide for the culinary walk, is a knowledgeable, interesting person who did a fabulous job explaining the traditions and origins of local food. We sampled many delicious foods while listening to the stories behind them. Everything went smoothly, with trays of food ordered ahead of time, and Zsofi taking care of all the arrangements in places where it wasn't. We enjoyed seeing off-the-beaten path shops, such as the one where we sampled award-winning chocolate, and ending with the wine-tasting where we learned about and tasted wines of Hungary.
The second part of our tour, the history walk, was led by Henk, who was not a native Hungarian, but had lived in Budapest for many years and offered a more objective view of the city. He was very informative and was able to answer all of my history-buff husband's questions. He showed us many of the city's highlights, and explained some of the unique cultural aspects, all in an interesting and engaging way.
Our day touring Budapest with Taste Hungary and Insight Cities was a highlight of our European trip. We were very impressed about how much we were able to learn and experience in just a few short hours!
