Called in for a heat up and a drink on our way to the City Park. The Turkish Styled Cafe was quite atmospheric.
The staff were very welcoming and lovely. We decided to have lunch once we were inside as the menu appealled as we just wanted a snack. It turned out that the portion sizes were much bigger than we had expected but the food was delicious.
I also had a hot chocolate to die for!!

We arrived at Hero Square after visiting the Horror Museum. We stumbled across Kara Cafe as it is one of the few restaurants visible from the street. It was quite crowded which we took to be a good sign. We sat down and ordered two Turkey sandwiches. After waiting more than 35minutes are sandwiches arrived. There were two sandwiches on the plate with an iceberg lettuce salad with a heap of mayo style dressing. The sandwiches were two pieces of cheap white bread, a tomato ketchup like spread, ham and cheese. We are not sure if there was turkey. The sandwiches were fine, but not worth the money or the calories. We would rather have spent our time, money and calories on the restaurant in the park just past the museum of Fine Arts.

They have a great location but that's about it. Dropped in for a beer and a sandwich. There was three staff working and about ten customers in the place. It took them forever to take our order, the staff were more interested in talking to themselves then trying to serve anyone. Service is terrible really really slow... and not one bit friendly.
