“A quick restaurant experience”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

It is not a place where you spend hours waiting for your food. It would not be a problem at all if the food was fresh, but I strongly doubt it. Overpriced food that is. The interior is very inviting so are the waiters. The waiter served us at an average level - not more not less than it should be everywhere.

“Good food, good service”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

We were a couple of friends, staying at a hotel nearby , were recommended to try this place, the first day, we ordered Mexican , the food was average, after wards we used to sit outside at their outdoors seating and took some drinks on a daily basis as we found the young and tall waiter was very friendly towards us and joked with us. On the last day ( we were there for 4 days) we tried Hungarian dishes, we took pork gypsy, pork medallion with letsho, they were delicious, so was their Hungarian steak, we were forced to split the food as the dishes came in huge portions. Do not forget their Irish coffee, this place is certainly worth a try if anyone is in the neighborhood. I would certainly recommend this place, not cheap, not overpriced either, so why not give it a try. Good food and very good service.

“Avoid this restaurant - we had terrible experience”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

I've been waiting to join tripadvisor so I can write a review for this place where we visited a few years ago so at least others might read it and not make the same mistake we did.

When we arrived all seemed OK. The beer was cold and the nachos good. However, this was as good as it got.

Our mains arrived and my burritos were tepid in terms of temperature. They had virtually no taste other than some mild paprika. I was expecting Mexican food and at least some element of chilly, spice etc. The waiter remonstrated with me and said that it was a restaurant for families and children and that they didn't serve spicy food (in a Mexican restaurant!). I pointed to their menu which displayed every dish decorated with jalapeno peppers and was told this was for decoration. They eventually brought me a small jalapeno which had been chopped up. I had no idea why they were marketing themselves as a Mexican restaurant as the food they were serving did not resemble Mexican food in the slightest.

We ordered water which they never brought.

When the bill arrived they had charged me a significant amount of money for the small pepper and added 15% service charge. Staff became aggressive and very rude when I questioned the extortionate charge for the pepper and that it was our decision as to whether we would leave a tip or not. The staff became very intimidating at this point. We simply paid what they asked for and left, vowing to warn other travellers and never ever go back to this restaurant. Quite simply this is the worst dining experience I have ever had.

“AVOID”
Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

The food here is poor and WAY overpriced. Got charged for one extra glass of wine that we didnt order. Had nachos with dips to start which were very simple considering the 2000+huf price - they were the kind you get free at chiquitos in the UK whilst you make your order. We had fajitas for main which came with just the 1 tortilla wrap. Bizarre. The chicken and peppers on the hot plate were swimming in oil and had almost no spicy flavour at all. The service was very quick though - but almost too quick, as though the food isn't fresh and is just dipped in the fryer for a few minutes before coming out. The exterior looks welcoming though and the decor is lovely which is why we went in despite reading many negative reviews - but seriously, do yourself a favour and avoid!!!!!

“Average”
Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

Friendly atmosphere and great decor but very average food, slightly over priced. We ordered 'Fajitas' and got just one large wrap. They would perhaps do better to serve a couple more smaller wraps. The chicken its self was quite bland and lacked any kind of spice or seasoning. It was also quite greasy. That dish cost around 2,300 HUF which isn't too much but with a starter and a drink each, the whole meal worked out quite pricey.
