Me and my boyfriend stayed next door in the Grant Park Hotel and decided to try out this cosy and nice looking restaurant next door, also as the rating on tripadvisor was rather decent for here.
We were not disappointed. The food was amazing. I must admit I have traveled to several countries and have eaten my fair share of yummy food. And this place has to be my all time second best food I have consumed.(1st being in Japan).
We shared a goulash soup (this was the best I had since being in Budapest)
I had the "Confit roast beef with pepper sauce and crispy onions" - and Wow, it was delicious.
My bf had the Pizza Romagna and this was also tasty. Mine was definitely better than his pizza though :p
The service in the restaurant was good and the atmosphere was very nice.
If you would like a variety of tasty food in a nice atmosphere then I would highly suggest eating here.
Overall I would give it a 9 out 10.
Thanks Etna Restaurant.

Our research led us to this "great gluten-free pizza in Budapest". It was a bit tough to find from the OTHER side of the train terminal (even with TripAdvisor's embedded GPS), but well worth the aggravation once inside.

Just inside the door, the wood oven welcomes and lures you back to one of the comfy attractive tables alongside the bar or further back into the restaurant. We were surprised and delighted to consider the Hungarian dishes on the menu, but not for long. We were here for pizza! And we were not disappointed. Both the gluten-free crust and the regular crust were exceptional - thin, flavourful and wonderful bases for what you chose to put on them. (There were many good and varied choices.) Definitely the best we've had in Europe.

The service was friendly and attentive. The price was excellent - two of us ate well for $28US!

The only disappointment (and reason for "very good" instead of "excellent") was the glass of red wine - clearly from a bottle that had been opened for a while and it had come from the fridge. Not what you'd hope for to accompany pizza.

That being said, we'd sure go back in a heartbeat!

If you pop up at Roszakert Shopping Center, you have the opportunity to enjoy at Etna a good pizza and some great plates. The florentine manager is providing a fusion of Florence taste in Hungary.
