We did two tours with Attila. One took us around the Jewish district and the other around District 8. This is Attila's own small company, and I've learned from tours in various European cities now that tours with the owners of smaller companies are inevitably the best as a tour company owner is much more passionate and knowledgeable about the subject than a university student who is just leading tours as a way to make some money. This was the case with Attila as well. He showed us a lot of off-the-beaten-track destinations, and a few that are very much on the beaten track but which you might not be able to fully appreciate without a tour. The tour of the Jewish Quarter in particular takes in a lot of sights that are fairly popular with tourist but that really benefit from the added context Attila can provide. The second tour we took with Attila, which was of District VIII, is for people who want to see a different side of Budapest and covers a lot of smaller art galleries and so on. It's not for everyone, but if it sounds like your kind of tour, you will probably love it. These tours are quite unique and will certainly give you an insight into Budapest that you would otherwise miss. Attila is a great leader :)
