Attila is a man who has knowledge of, wisdom about, and passion for his city. I took the tour of the 8th district, and it was fascinating to learn about a neighborhood in the midst of seismic change. From stopping to explain the political message behind a sticker posted on a street pole to a visit to the current hub of cultural and artistic movements in the neighborhood, this tour is exactly as promised. Also, I was in a small group I basically got to have a 3 hour conversation with someone who knows so much about the city and it's life. Would recommend this tour for anyone who likes to notice what no one else seems to.

Attila was a fabulous guide,he was interesting and informative the street art meant so much more with his background knowledge and history. Was worth the cost and will recommend it and when I go back I shall book on the other tours.

We did two tours with Attila. One took us around the Jewish district and the other around District 8. This is Attila's own small company, and I've learned from tours in various European cities now that tours with the owners of smaller companies are inevitably the best as a tour company owner is much more passionate and knowledgeable about the subject than a university student who is just leading tours as a way to make some money. This was the case with Attila as well. He showed us a lot of off-the-beaten-track destinations, and a few that are very much on the beaten track but which you might not be able to fully appreciate without a tour. The tour of the Jewish Quarter in particular takes in a lot of sights that are fairly popular with tourist but that really benefit from the added context Attila can provide. The second tour we took with Attila, which was of District VIII, is for people who want to see a different side of Budapest and covers a lot of smaller art galleries and so on. It's not for everyone, but if it sounds like your kind of tour, you will probably love it. These tours are quite unique and will certainly give you an insight into Budapest that you would otherwise miss. Attila is a great leader :)

The tour truly lived up to its name. An excellent way to see the Jewish quarters and understanding the history and meaning behind the “today”. The street art that Attila showed us were intriguing. Worth mentioning - the most fun part of the tour was it’s size ( were 5 guests ) and of course the dry humored Attila :D

I loved my time with Atilla – he was funny, informative, and welcoming. The spots we stopped on our tour were a good combination of the "greatest hits" of the neighborhood and the more underground, unknown places. A small group at only 8, we were able to get to know Atilla and the other group-members, which I deeply appreciated as a solo traveller. I would reccomend Budapest Flow to anyone!!
