First of all, reservations are needed, we had made reservations via email on a Tuesday for a Friday evening at 7pm in January, and they kept refusing clients all evening. The food is very good and the portions quite big for such a restaurant. The place was quiet til 8:00pm, when most people arrived and the accordeon player kicked in. Service is good but a little slow. We loved the wine and decided to buy a few bottles of Tokay from their vineyards for 6 Euros each, their bottles are discounted when you buy through the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Budapest, of course it is pricier than most restaurants there but for Eurozone travellers, this is Heaven.
We were 3, ordered 1 starter to share, 3 main dishes, 2 glasses of wine, 3 desserts and 2 coffees: price was 25,000 Forints with service included = 84 Euros!
