Yes they don't have forks, but they should provide forks when asked. It was so dark in the restaurant we couldn't read the menu. The food was really bad and the so called entertainment was cheesy.

This is quite a special place which definitely worth trying at least once. The food is very good, delicious and fresh. The service is nice, the waiters are dressed as in the medieval era and they are very polite. They explain everything for you like what are the changes compared to the printed menu. This is ok, but it was a little bit awkward that the menu is not quite updated and whatever we were choosing, the lady had to tell us how is it in reality. Nevertheless, the result of the chef was tasty. One thing I wasn't expected: they don't have separate appetizers (like a plate with local delicacies). You need to go with one of the "menus/feasts" or just skip it. Also, if you are not that hungry and just want a salad, this is not the place.

I have booked this restaurant for my boyfriends birthday celebration. The restaurant decorations were amazing, and the staff was super friendly. We have ordered 3-course meal and it was lovely. The bill was less than we expected so it was a nice surprise. I would recommend going there after 8pm when you can have live entertainment show.

I would have put 5 stars but the only think that s keeping me is the prices...quite high....everything else was great, the atmosphere, the food, the service, the people, the music....We really liked it

I had heard of this place a while back and when I was last in Budapest I visited with a large group of people. I had fillet mignon on skewers, the person next to me had a steak, a couple of people had chicken (a whole chicken was brought to them!) and others had pork knuckles. The food was very tasty and seasoned to perfection, even the steaks that tend to be overdone in that part of the world. The "no forks" theme was a bit hard to get used, truth be told but it did add to the ambiance. The only sort of sore point was the waiter who was not the friendliest human being-in a place as such where the general theatrics is part of the sell it was a bit of downer!
