Oh, here is the place to try hungarian specialities! For example: gulas soup, and sweet thing with sour milk

“Peaceful break”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

The main feature of that modest place is tasty and homy food. The interior doesn't have anything outstanding but if you have luck to be served by a polite waiter, then you can get to feel the atmosphere.
Also nice to come just for a glass of wine.

Locals also come there often.

After 6 p.m., sometimes, it is impossible to get into - too crowded.

“Nice atmosphere and great food”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

This restaurant was closed to where we stayed. We passed by it many times but never went in. It looked a bit touristy and they had tourist menu and their prices in Euro. We tried it one evening, because we didn't want to go too far. We are glad we did. All our dishes were delicious. They have both expensive and less pricey dishes. Especially the chef's offers are good value dishes. The 2 things I would criticize are the lemonades, bland, hardly cold and regular water, also all main courses need a separate order of a side dish to become a whole meal. Which means most dishes are at least 400 huf more. All in all a great restaurant with great food.

“Average”
Reviewed August 20, 2013 via mobile

It was kinda "meh". Not terrible, just very average/bog-standard food, service and price. No tap water, which for me is a MUST, especially when drinking coffee/alcohol. Chicken was good, mixed antipasti with duck scratching was disappointing.
Hang on, coffee just came.... Yup that was good. Ground on the spot and nice froth.

“Expected much more”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

We chose this restaurant due to the good reviews we found here. It was a disappointment. Place was nice and in good location. The soups we orders for starters were ok, unlike the main courses which weren't in our taste. Stuffed cabbage (recommended here) was very meaty. Portion included one thin cabbage leaf surrounding the minced meat, one dry steak and fried cabbage on the side (it was dripping oil). Paprika was the only taste I found. The eggplant cooked in clay pot wasn't that special either. It was covered in rubbery cheese which didn't have any real taste. But the rösti potatoes ordered for side dishes were very nice.
