Had a "Peasant's Breakfast", which consisted of a tray with vegetables, ham, bacon, local Mangalitsa sausage and a spread with soft cheese and vegetables. Also included were bread, orange juice and coffee.
The food was very tasty, fresh a nicely presented. Juice quantity was a bit small.
The atmosphere was nice, with young people coming in for a quick cup of coffee or breakfast.
For 2700 HUF, it's good value although not the cheapest you can get.
Recommended for a leisurly breakfast.

A recent mixed business and pleasure trip to Budapest we needed to find a value for money restaurant near our hotel. This place was perfect. We enjoyed our first evening so much we booked again for the following night, then on the secondevening talked about where to eat on the third evening. Just liked the place so we booked it again.

Okay, so why did we do three evenings in a row. It was a mix of factors.

Food. Very good choice, well presented, and excellent value.
We spent between 16000 and 19000 HUF each evening. This was for 2 people, 2 courses and plenty of wine.

Service. We couldn't fault it, the staff were all helpful and friendly without being in our faces.

Atmosphere. I think this is probably the thing that got us back in for three evenings. The place is busy, buzzing with people who all seemed to be very relaxed. I don't think I had any indication that anybody had any problems with this restaurant.

I will be going back to Budapest in the near future, so I expect to visit again

One tip is you want a table, make a booking particularly if you want one around 19:30 to 20:30.

Thanks to everybody at the restaurant.

After reading the reviews, we decided to eat here. We ordered 3 dishes, only 2 came. The food were really nice and tasty. We sat around and waited for the third dish, until a waiter came and asked if we wanted to order anything else. We told him that we had been waiting around for the third dish and found out they didnt take note of it (maybe they didnt understand english well?).
I was really disappointed they forgot/didnt take the order. There were some ppl eating there, but the restaurant was not busy. Price wise not cheap, but not so expensive either. Nice cafe athmosphere

Well, if you're a Brit like me, you know how wrong some countries can get a full English breakfast but this was very nice indeed. We looked for suggestions on the internet and this name kept cropping up and wasn't far from our apartments so we decided to go. The bacon is properly cooked (a deal-breaker for me!), the service was good and the dining area is nice enough. There is a choice of two freshly squeezed fruit juices every day. I had the grapefruit. Yum! It's definitely worth popping in. Great value for money and the closest thing to a full English breakfast that you'll get in Budapest!

This restaurant is just round the corner from the Opera House. We arrived about 8pm and got a table straight away. It was almost full and most of the customers appeared to be locals. Service was very efficient. The food was good, Portions are generous, so pace yourself accordingly. We had one starter, two mains, two puds and a bottle of red. Our bill was around £45 in total.
