This is a quaint restaurant in Budapest that serves a variety of tapas dishes and main course. The place is decorated very well with ambient lighting and candles, cloth tablecloths and great service. We had the Hungarian pasta, which was very large ravioli filled with chicken in a paprika sauce--delicious! Good wine selection too. Located close to the Opera house. Very reasonably priced.

Dined here twice during our stay in Budapest,

Quaint cafe-like atmosphere and look, of this centrally located restaurant. However saying that it is certainly still appropriate for a romantic dinner.

Varied menu with tapas dishes and normal mains; tapas wise we tried the prawns in white wine sauce, the monkfish with capers and olives, and the squid in chilli oil. All were top quality and would be keen to try the rest of the tapas menu. We also sampled the risotto main and the Thai prawn curry - Tasty though not quite as good as the tapas. Would recommend their goulash soup too

Overall an excellent place for a quick lunch, or full on evening meal

We found this lovely restaurant via the "nearby" function on the Trip Advisor Budapest guide. My husband had the goulash soup and I had the home made pasta filled with minced chicken in a paprika sauce. Both were delicious and service was quick and friendly.

We came here for dinner following the recommendations on TA and were not dissappointed. In fact, there are only positives about this restaurant: The food is exquisite, the service very friendly, the interior cosy and the prices very reasonable given the inner city location.
The menu, also in English, is quite international and broad. You can find your Argentine steak as well as pasta. In any case, the preparation is definitely delicious. The duck terrine was tasty, the duck breast with chili honey sauce really innovative as was the rabbit leg with home-made gnocchi in a fine mustard sauce. Although portions did not look particularly large on first sight, they ultimately did their job!
The service was quick and attentive but in no way intrusive. After having ordered our meals I discovered this duck terrine on the menu of the day as a starter. No problem for the waiter, he was happy to take this additional last minute order and to delay our main dishes accordingly. Nice job!
The interiour seems to lack a coherent style, but maybe this is the very reason why the place looks that cosy - statues, paintings and oriental-style lamps. The sitting area outside on the street seems equally inviting with tent roofs and green plants.
We, 2 persons, paid for the dinner 10.840 Ft (40 EUR) consisting of the above mentioned dishes and 2 large non alkoholic drinks.
This is a place to go if you are a fan of fine food in a "local-cafe" style place.

We recently had an early dinner here and were pretty impressed with the overall experience.
The food was good and reasonably priced for the city and great value for tourists. The menu and specials were well concocted and no one was disappointed. It was a great spot for a group and most tables had 4 or more round them. There is an outside area to sit which the pictures somewhat embellish but its pretty nonetheless.

The service was on and off. We appeared to have 3 different servers and we had to twice walk around the corner to go and find them after waiting 10 minutes. However, most people were sat on the other side and in the window area where as we were sat around the corner alone - our choice.

I would recommend and return to this restaurant.

Great location for an evening stroll afterwards.
