By the time I arrived in Budapest, I was longing for a cheeseburger. The reviews on this place were crazy good and we couldn't pass it up. Tuning is so greatly decorated! The staff looked like they enjoyed themselves and we received great service (and food). I would definitely go back if even in Budapest again.

Such an amazing burger. Tiny place but friendly staff. Not a huge menu but more than enough options to keep you happy. Burger was amazing and the sides went down really well with it as well. Cheap but great. 2 burgers 4 drinks and a complimentary shot of Hungarian high octain spirits for the both off is for under 40 bucks Australian
Great little place

We were seduced by the offer of the best burger in Budapest. What was served, fell some way short.

This was the first night of an extended city break. We arrived to our hotel in the early evening, so were after something simple - and burgers fit the bill.

The restaurant is situated on a back street, in the Jewish Quarter. There are a number of other bars in the neighbourhood so you don't feel threatened. We made the reservation online through their website and were able to be seated inside. The outside tables were all taken and, as they were not offering a view, their only benefit was a cooler dining experience. The interior is fashionably decorated and has a couple of large fans to stop you burning up.

One big plus of the restaurant was the choice of 4 craft beer. We had the unfiltered amber ale and lager - the latter was particularly good. There were no ill effects the following morning.

For our meal, we ordered a few different burgers. I had the chimichurri; we also had the kobi beef special and the juicy burger. They are served with overcooked and over salted potato wedges and a refreshing coleslaw.

We were in agreement that the size of the burger is too large. It may look impressive but it makes it a struggle to hold in two hands. The burger was served "pink" for the adults and more well done for the child. The bun is too big (and slightly stale) and the patty is too thick. Oddly, the toppings (chili spread and black forest ham in my case) were added so thinly that their flavours were lost. On my first bite, 50ml of oil and water came out of my burger, drenching the plate, which I had to mop up with a napkin so that my wedges didn't get too soggy. My wife felt that there were too many flavours in the special, both competing with each other and the kobi beef. Next time, I would prefer a smaller and fresher bun with a patty that has been patted down more.

The service was good and the toilets clean. It was busy, considering it was a Monday night. I highly recommend the beer, but not the burger.

I had dinner there with some friends our first night in Budapest. Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. We were all very happy with the place. Try to make a reservation before you get there. We didn't but we were lucky sitting to the last spare table inside the re. Be aware that they need about 20-30min to prepare the burgers but this is not a problem as far as you have good company and you can enjoy a few drinks.

We were received very well by the kind staff in the restaurant. It's a bit off the city center but worth the walk. Really good burgers (approx €10,- each) and a good variety of drinks to choose from. The patatoes were a bit too salt for my taste. The burger however was delicious. Might be one of the best burgers i've had.
