“A Little Gam on Raday”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2014

There is a lot of dross purporting to be restaurants on Raday and choosing between them isn't easy. They have a nice comfortable covered terrace if you want to eat outside and an equally comfortable restaurant section inside. The waiting staff are efficient, friendly and not at all pushy. We ate there 3 times in total - 1 lunch and 2 dinner - and we very pleased each time and what is more the bill at the end was very reasonable.

Raday isn't the best street for people watching but at least it is more or less pedestrianised so traffic isn't a problem. If you are eating down there and can't afford or get in to Costes do try Soul.

“Home of tastes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2014 via mobile

This place mix together the traditional and the modern way of kitchens.
The area is friendly and elegant, so this is perfect for business meeting and romantic dinner also.
The tastes excellent.
I eat there rib-eye steak and sufle.
I think this is the best restaurant in Budapest. I guarantee you will get a fantastic experience.

“Good restaurant at reasonable prices”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2014

Found this restaurant while wandering down Raday street, lots of places to choose from to eat but opted for Soul Cafe and glad we did, good food at reasonable price bill came to just under £70 for four, two three courses and two two courses with drinks. Would use this restaurant again.

“Very, very small portions”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2014

Ate here in May 2014 because it was near our hotel. I had checked out the mixed reviews on TA and decided to give it a try. The quality of the food was good, but the quantity was lacking. I ordered a beef carpaccio salad. It should have been a small appetizer instead of a main dish. My husband ordered sausages with apple flavored mustard and onion rings. We both had a snack shortly after lunch (and we are very thin people - not big eaters)... Also, I didn't like the fact that about 12% (maybe more) was added to the bill for service. I have encountered this in Budapest, but it has always been 10%. The waitress was fine and the service was good. There were only about 6 people in the restaurant at 1:00 for lunch.

“Marvellous food - great fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2014

17 of us descended upon this cafe/restaurant on a Tuesday night for dinner. We all enjoyed our food very much - every dish was excellent and my confit of duck leg with steamed, fried cabbage was superb. The crepe suzettes for desserts were also excellent, and the prices are quite reasonable. Staff were most helpful, especially since we needed to split the bill, but this wasn't a problem for them. We will be back!
