“good food but overrated prices”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

Nice place, good atmosphere, fast service and good food in general. I recommend the new york strip and the glazed spare ribs.
However the prices are over rated. Who will eat in the current days a ceaser salad for 10 Euros? Also sometimes the cook forgets to expedite the service and there is the chance that you will get cold food.
Anyway i had a good experience there, nevertheless I find the prices over rated

“Cold Food”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

This is the first time I have ever written a review on Trip Adviser.
The starter and wine we ordered were excellent but the steak meals were served COLD. The plates; COLD, the mashed potatoe; COLD, the sauces in separate dishes; COLD, THE RIB EYE AND FILLET BARELY ABOVE ROOM TEMPERATURE. We mentioned this to the waitress who took the plates away and returned some 3 minutes later with the SAME steaks (obviously popped in a Microwave for a short time so as not to overcook them), no warmer and AGAIN on cold plates and another dollop of cold mash. We sent them away again explaining to the manageress this time that you can't heat up or re-cook steak without turning them into well done instead of medium etc and asked for fresh food. Her reaction was just as cold.

A fresh meal was delivered not much better than the rest but by this time the evening was spoilt.

Terrible food, terrible attitude and service by the manageress (the waitresses were all pleasant).
We paid the bill and left.

“One of the best lemonades!”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

We (a couple) visited this place for lunch in April.

The atmosphere of the place looked very American (posters, disco decorations, booths, etc.).

The menu scared us with its prices. The each BBQ Chicken Salad and Shrimp & Chiken pasta cost ~10 euro, which is high for Budapest. The price for the watermelon lemonade (1 litre) was ~7 euro.

But the taste of the every meal compensated our 30 euro bill. It was worth it because we really enjoyed the food. In addition, the proportions were very big, and they made us full easily.

The best part of our visit was the lemonade, which was beyond any size and any taste of other lemonades. Maybe, it was not even a lemonade.

“I got my fix for hot wings but...”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

Service is absolutely terrible. Took more than 5 minutes for the bartender (Krisztopher) to acknowledge me when I was the only person sitting there. Looking past and over me. Once I got my wings I asked for some extra sauce on that side and that took another 10 minutes. He punched it into the computer but nobody came out with that tiny side of hot sauce. Half the people working were running food and the other half were doing..surprise...nothing!

Bartender looked like he didn't want to be there as well as the managers. Sure, I made a huge mistake by going to an American chain restaurant in Hungary but I really wanted wings. Remember, you're always an inconvenience to people that are working in Hungary, even in downtown. Since this place didn't have a service charge (which is an automatic gratuity), don't bother leaving a tip.

“Poor Service... Long Wait and Overcharged!”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

On a plus side, the food was very good after a two, yes two hour wait. The place was quite empty on a Saturday night, maybe this was a sign?

We had three litres of beer, yet were charged for four. We complained about part of a meal which was missing, then the side was eventually cooked and brought to us; to our surprise we were charged for it on the bill!

The manager would not admit he was in the wrong regarding this, even then it took enough time to get the extra litre of beer removed from the bill. We paid and promptly left.
