Description: A little Greece on the riverbank of the Danube... Dionysos moved to the Pest bank of the River Danube on New Year's Eve 1993 and has since delighted the dwellers of our city with delicacies of Greek cuisine and delicious wine of its vineyards. The air is filled with the fragrance of char-grilled meats and fishes, fresh-cut vegetables and crispy-baked home style bread. Thanks to the friendly atmosphere, diners chit-chat casually around the tables, which blends pleasantly into the melodies of Greek music playing in the background. It is good to be in this restaurant. The pampering feeling of authentic entertainment accompanies the guests from the moment they enter up until they leave. We hope you visit us soon so that we may entertain you for a few hours here in little Greece of Budapest!

“over-ratted food quality!”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

I'm a Greek chef and as i wanted something of my local cuisine, i decided to come and try based of the reviews of T.A.
The place is very clean, and reminds a Greek island tavern.
The food was a bit disappointed. fried vegetables wasn't fried at all but grilled. The really fried veges are coated with flour and they fried into olive oil until become golden and crispy.nothing like these.
the tzatziki wasn't good at all with not so many cucumber inside and had bad quality of yogurt. the meat was ok but my opinion is that when you don't have the right quality for this restaurant don't put these dishes in your menu.
Last but not least none was speaking Greek.
Thank you and goodnight!

“Mr. & Mrs. Azzopardi from Malta”
Reviewed February 4, 2014 via mobile

This place is awesome! The decor makes you feel like you're in Greece or on one of its' surrounfing islands. The food is amazing, flavourful and plentiful. We had the Dionysius plate for two, consisting of grilled pork, spare rib, chicken breast, gyros, greek burger and beef. This was served on a huge plate together with potatoes, rice and vegetables. It s a pity that we couldn't eat it all.
Moreover the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Highly recommended.

“Just Amazing!”
Reviewed February 2, 2014

What an amazing place...
The location is superb, overlooking the Danube river and scenic night lights on Buda.
Food: succulent, flavorful, and tender. Moussaka, spanakopita, and souvlaki are perfect.
Service: top notch, and make you feel special.
Well done Dionysos!

“Lunch average...”
Reviewed January 31, 2014

Today we had lunch here, service was ok friendly people but too slow. The food was not that great, it was cooked good but no flavour at all. It is a pity as greek food does have great flavour. The best we had was the flat bread. To bad was hoping for a great lunch... :(
