Had diner there on our last night in Budapest. The staff was very friendly. The food was good and very generous. Had a risotto with duck breast and foie gras and Paprika off course. My mother had a goulash soup wich was nice and filling. The local Pinot Noir was also excellent. One thing I appreciate in Europe is the thoughtfulness by providing blankets on the terraces.

We entered because of a smiling polite waitress who welcomed us when we were examining rhe menu. It was a very hot summer and we sat indoors where the ac was effective. The decor is lovely. Didn't like pur summer cocktail but the food was excellent. Portions are however fashionably small.

A group of five of us stopped in for a late dinner after an evening of wandering around the tourist area of Budapest. Our drinks (Chardonnay, a mojito, still water) took a little while to arrive, and one drink didn't make it at all. The entrees (Medly of Pork, Garlic Tiger Prawns, Gipsy Style Barany and Beef Tenderloin w/Ratatouille) were all beautifully presented and quite tasty, but somewhat meager on portion size. The pricing was rather high relative to other restaurants in the area, considering what actually arrived on the plate. When dinner was served, we told our waiter about the missing drink and that he should not bother bringing it out at this point. About halfway through the meal another waiter arrived with the drink, which we waived off to his great confusion.

While the restaurant is visually impressive, the rest leaves a bit to be desired.

Excellent food with attentive service. Dishes are a modern take on traditional Hungarian recipes. Wines pricy, but that seems to true for all of central Budapest.
