“Probably one of the best on district VI”

I've tried many restaurants since i'm living in that area near the Hero's Square and in terms of quality, presentation and taste there is nothing close to it. Sure it's more expensive but worth it imo.
The Lunch option is still good value where i spend usually around 7500 ft for starter , main + glass of wine.

Although, avoid the breakfast which is a complete ripoff. At 19 euros you just have a single table with food where you just find eggs, yoghurt, bread and some decent pastries but that's all. Very poor value.

“Premium restaurant at Mamasion Hotel on Andrassy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

Decided to eat at the Restaurant attached to our hotel and in Summary its quite expensive but pretty good (cost us 29,000 Florins / approx £85.

Great service (exceptional actually) great bread (hot walnut) and great taster (goats cheese and salsa) provided, photos of food provided and both happy with our food.

We ate on a Sunday night at 9pm and was the only diners in the restaurant, the waiters were really helpful and gave us a great service. Recommended

“Baraka delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2013

Modern food, very tasty, well-presented in a beautifullydesigned room with excellent service. Expensive by Hungarian standards - £50 per head including wine, but not by English standards for a first class meal in a top restaurant.

“Good food accompanied by Atrocious services.”

Headed down to Barrack for my Birthday dinner. Seen reviews on this restaurant and was led to think that this would be ideal for a joyous, fulfilling birthday dinner with my girlfriend.

From ordering of food to being served and calling for the bill, each process took more then 45 minutes to come. Not to mention orders was sent wrongly to us not once but thrice...

Came to our attention as well that it seems the staffs were selective of their guests. Groups of Caucasians that were seated around us that came after us were promptly served, nothing like our ordeal.

Was the worst birthday dinner ever, I'll need to notify all my "food connoisseurs" friends not to visit this place least they would like to experience an atrocious service. Pity the food was good though. Am glad to went over to Laurent Cafe for dessert after that. It manage to sooth us and bring sweetness back to our heart...
