Well, all the other reviews really are true! Albert is one of the best hosts I have ever come across. Not only did we instantly feel welcome as if we were staying in our own home, but Albert also showed us the best places to visit and eat on his very comprehensive map!

I know it's called a Boutique B&B but it could be a Boutique hotel! There's lots of attention to detail in the entire place and the hospitality is far better than many "high end" hotels that I have stayed in.

Breakfast is served in the newly renovated kitchen (which is bigger than my flat!) and the selection is great! Freshly ground coffee whenever you want it and lots of choices! AND the beds are hyper comfortable.

The location is also really great. Just a 10 mins walk to Heros square and 10 mins down Andrassy avenue to the old town; what more can you want really?

If we're back in Budapest we'll be staying here for sure!

We stayed here for 3 nights. Had booked a deluxe room but upon arrival Albert explained there had been a cancellation so he kindly upgraded us to the 2 bed apartment.
Rooms were very nicely decorated & clean. Shower room was wonderful with a rainfall shower. Breakfast is served in Alberts new kitchen - which is huge! Although we were the only guests staying for 2 of the nights we were there it is nice to meet fellow guests in the kitchen in the mornings.
Albert is very helpful & provides maps & tourists guides. Also provided us with some restaurant & bar recommendations which were all good.
Would highly recommend staying at the Kapital Inn - location is great to explore the whole of Budapest

My husband went to Budapest for work and I was able to join him a week later to tour the city. His work put him up at one of the posh 5-star hotels in the area. It was nice, but nothing special. We saw the TripAdvisor reviews and knew we wanted to try a bed and breakfast, so we transferred to Kapital Inn. Every review you read is true! Albert met us and carried our two heavy suitcases up the stairs like they were nothing. He showed us to our wonderful room (Irish Lovers, named by Trish. The bed was so comfortable, that we need to see if we can buy the bed in the States!) After we had a chance to settle into our room, we got to sit with Albert in the newly added kitchen (gorgeous!!) for 2+ hours while he gave us the low-down about the city. He had great recommendations about everything from restaurants to where to find a place to fix my broken watch. His cheer every morning and advice for our days' itinerary was amazing. I fell in love with Budapest because of its charm, history and culture. But I want to return to see Albert and stay at Kapital Inn again. Unlike the earlier hotel we stayed at, what Albert has created truly is special.

Room Tip: With the newly added kitchen, Kapital Inn has three different "types" of rooms. Two rooms...

My husband and I spent four nights at Kapital Inn this past December 2013 and I highly recommend it. Even though it does not have a lift, Albert was there when our taxi arrived and handled our luggage up the flights of stairs like there was no tomorrow. The room was very clean and modern. Albert was in the middle of remodeling his kitchen which when completed will be a great asset to this B & B. Plenty of food, great conversations, and great recommendations. The B & B is located just one block off Andrassy which is the main street of Budapest. Everything is within walking distance including the Buda side. Albert is a gracious host. He set up our taxis for the morning we left and was even up at the ungodly hour of 3:00 am to take our luggage down and get us into the taxis.

I highly recommend this B & B and will definitely stay here again if I get the opportunity to return to Budapest.

Everything positive you read about Kapital Inn is true. The rooms are nicely furnished, comfortable and most importantly, spotless. And yes, Albert does breakfast, laundry, and climbs the four flights of stairs with your luggage. He acts as a personal travel consultant, lets you know all about the sights, when to visit, fees, basically all the minutiae you need to know.
Albert is what makes Kapital Inn special. His integrity, wit and generosity of spirit truly enhanced our experience. Albert, thank you so very much for your great service and best wishes for a wonderful 2014!

We stayed at Kapital Inn in the middle of December and I must say it really made our trip that much more enjoyable. Albert is a superb host, especially to two girls who were a little hopeless with directions, he also has good banter! He gave us tips on the best walking tours, places to go out in the evening and helped us plan our days to make the most of the city. The B&B is modern and has everything you need and is within walking distance to pretty much everywhere and right next to the metro for those who would prefer not to walk.

I have already recommended Kapital Inn to others and hope to be back again in the summer with friends.

Nina

Room Tip: Stayed in the deluxe room with en-suite, which was just delightful.
