Visited this hotel for my wife's 30th birthday with a group of 6 others. Arrived late on the Friday and check in was so smooth. All rooms were ready and we were checked in and in the room within 10 minutes.
Rooms are of a decent standard, clean and modern.
Although not that much natural light in some, your only there to sleep after all.
Good location and within seconds of public transport.
Around a 20 minute walk to the river.
All in all a very comfy, good value hotel. Would highly recommend for a weekend break.

Lovely place to stay. Very clean modern hotel. Staff friendly, breakfast great. Only thing found strange was no outside windows but it's just a room to sleep and rest in. Would visit hotel again it has all you need for city break. Budapest clean city lots to do, a must is a visit to the ruin pubs, and cafe lado a visit not to miss. Visit zoo what ever your age and the baths at kiraly at must not full of tourist you get proper feel. Only thing would say don't buy Budapest card cheaper to buy day rider from tube station lets you use tube bus and trains, we found card couldn't be used for places we wanted to visit so be careful. Hospital in rock good also church in rock. Central market very busy. Food, cakes and beer all great. A must place to visit very easy to visit all attraction near tube.

This place is great, the staff are friendly and the breakfast a great European spread.

This hotel is trying to to be more than it is however. The rooms are small and most do not have a window (other than into the atrium/breakfast hall). This makes for a noisy room especially if you have been enjoying some of the local ruin bars and fancy a late morning.

The pictures sell the hotel very well but could set you up for a bit of a disappintment. Basically just enjoy a nice budget hotel at a great price with some friendly staff.

Thank you for your candid review on your recent stay in our Atrium Fashion Hotel. Based on the previous reviews and feedbacks we might not agree that our hotel would be a budget category hotel. Being a bed & breakfast hotel we offer the basic services attended by a great concierge service.
Regarding your feedback on the room, it is really important to have a good night sleep, please be assured that we will pay more attention on this matter to avoid future inconveniences. At the front side of the building we have a couple of rooms with openable window, next time we kindly suggest you to make a reservation to a Standard Plus room or a Standard room with street view.
Thank you for being our guest, we hope to have another opportunity of welcoming you soon.

I am writing this review a little late as my fiancé and I stayed here for a city break in December 2014.

This hotel really is a fashion hotel. It has a very modern and fashionable feel, as well as being set out differently to most hotels - the bedrooms have windows facing INWARDS into the hotel. Because of this, and being on the second floor, the sound of cutlery and people having breakfast at 6:00am did wake us up on a daily basis and made it difficult for us to go back to sleep. We would recommend asking for a room on a higher floor if possible.

The room however was clean, cosy and warm upon arrival. A good breakfast was also provided every morning consisting of cooked food, pastries, cereals and hot drinks. The hotel also provides discount cards for numerous attractions and restaurants which really come in handy. A tip for any cat lovers - you MUST visit the Cat Café! It's a cat person's dream!

For anyone thinking of visit Budapest during advent and Christmas, we would really recommend it. The market is spread all across the city, making it busy but not feeling crammed like sardines like you do at the German market in Birmingham! It just looks and feels really magical, with stunning scenery and buildings such as Vajdahunyad Castle and the outdoor ice rink at Varosligeti Mujegpalya. A really beautiful city.

Thank you for posting your kind review on our hotel and your fantastic tips about the city. The Cat Café is indeed a new way of enjoying your coffee. I do hope that you had the chance to „meet” our cats in the staircase, if you are a cat person you may found interesting these contemporary art pieces.
Thank you very much for being our guest, we look forward to welcoming you back!

This came as part of a city break package booked through BA, so wasn't a place we'd freely chosen. We were there for four nights. 1st night in a tiny cramped internal ground floor (just feels wrong in a hotel) room off the back of the dining room. One of the excellent guys on reception went to some length to sort us out with a room double the size with an opening window for the rest of our stay. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Hotel's been done up relatively recently, everything squeaky clean. Usual hotel buffet breakfast - fine. Not the most salubrious part of town, which is a twenty minute stroll away via down and out square. If anyone from the hotel side is reading this, you've got some really helpful staff, but one tea bag per person in the room for however long they're staying is an economy too far.

Room Tip: Try and get a room at the front.
