I'm never over satisfied with my hotels, pensions, apartments but I have absolutely nothing to complain about our apartment with Liechtenstein. Really friendly staff, they arranged for a taxi from the main office to our apartment for their expenses. Location was absolutely brilliant right beside the parlement! Rooms where very descent, had all you would need and all very tidy and maintained. The only little thing would be the rest of the building being a bit old. But the only reason that gets me is because you can see the building used to be very beautiful but has parished.
Overall an awesome stay!!

The staff were absolutely lovely and super friendly to us, they were students working for the summer and spoke great English. However you get what you pay for and we got 35 euro's worth of room. It certainly was not pretty or high design. It felt a bit like someone had taken an office and divided it into rooms for the lowest possible cost using whatever furniture they could get their hands on. It had dirty blinds that did not cover the windows properly. The inside of the shower curtain was smeared with someones bogeys. Aside from that though the rest of it seemed clean enough. The sheets and towels were clean. It had a fridge, a hotplate, a microwave and a kettle. It was in a great area. If you are a budget traveller who needs cooking facilitites or someone who just wants a cheap place to put their head down for one night I reccommmend it. If you are used to 4 stars, this is probably not for you.

We came across this room by accident. We were sitting in the Hummus cafe enquiring after a room and the owner was in there. We don't spend any time in a room so it was ideal for us and a good price. It is in the Astoria area and the centre is walkable in about 15 - 20 mins also right next to the metro, buses and Hop on Hop off bus stop just around the corner. We were given keys to the room and main doors and had no problems gaining access. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, shower excellent, air con available and I had no problem with wifi. i would definitely stay there again

Pros: Big room. Walk to Vaci Street in about 15 minutes. Nice kitchenette with utensils, microwave, kettle, hot plate. Next to Parliament building. They can organize taxi to pick you up from airport. Close to metro station - 3 minute walk away.

Cons: Weak wifi. Staff aren't around much. Aren't many stores/restaurants in the area. Thin walls.

Two days before the trip, I got an email saying we would be staying at a different venue, Falk Miksa Utca 3. No pictures available. Decided to get there earlier and check the place out. It did not look bad, and location is really great. Decided to stay.
A few things could not be seen at first glance: smelly bed sheets and bath towels, water leaks all over the bathroom, a roach waiting for us at night. That all would be overlooked. The turning point was being locked out (had to wait for an hour to get in after we send an sms to the contact person) at night.
