“great place to stay”
Reviewed June 15, 2014

This hotel is centrally located in Budapest and is an apartment hotel meaning you get a kitchen with microwave, oven, hob and fridge with a small freezer compartment. Everything you need to prepare your own meals. The room is small but bed ok and you get a bath and shower for those that appreciate a choice. The wardrobes are a bit Ikea like but do their job. The room was very clean and the staff keen to answer questions and help. It was well priced at considerably less than other 5 star hotels although not as luxurious. For example the tv was small.

I stayed here for one night in early June. We were checked in by a very friendly lady at reception, who gave us lots of tourist information about the area. The hotel is very well located in the heart of Budapest. I stayed in a superior suite and it was just perfect. It had all the essentials you would need on a short stay. The pool and spa was great, and although we did not dine in the hotel the restaurant menu looked very good. I was sad that I hadn't planned to stay longer in Budapest on my tour of Europe. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: The superior suite upgrade is definitely worth it

The hotel located perfectly in the center of the city , at the Jewish quarter ( fill with bars and places to hang out) , rooms are super clean , well equipped ( bath, kitchen etc... and the staff are so kind and helpful, reasonable prices for a luxury palace! U should try the restaurant at the hotel , we had steak and goose liver which was a delight! Highly recommend!

The place is amazing. Conveniently located in the city center, offers both a quite environment and proximity to the main attractions. The apartment are beautiful and really spacious. The restaurant is a true five star! We have tried all kind of different specialties and really peculiar food combinations. Delicious is the only word to describe it! Breakfast, which in our case was included, was abundant and for every taste. In case that is not enough you can also ask for a special (included) warm dish!
An incredible experience!

I stayed here with my elderly mother and sister. We had a 2 bed suite which was very spacious with a balcony onto the courtyard from one of the bedrooms and also the lounge area. It was great having a kitchen so we could have breakfast. It was basically equipped and we had to ask for a kettle. The mugs requested never did appear. The suite was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet street but has a great variety of bars and restaurants nearby. The old Jewish quarter is charming. If you follow the road the hotel is in towards the city centre there are lots of great bars restaurants and pop up bars. The hotel staff were really helpful and spoke great English. The spa was the only disappointment as it is small and basic, but then anything is going to look small in comparison to the fabulous Gellert baths. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night and it was fabulous. Great food and service. I would happily stay here again.

we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was very easy to find from the airport and overall we paid less than £14 each for our travel from/to the airport and for the duration for our stay (including boat trips) and it didnt take much longer than taxi/shared transfers.

We took 200e bus to the last stop where it meets the Metro line 3 we took that until we reached Corvin-Negyed and then took the Tram heading towards Szell Calmin (think its 5 stops and stop before Oktagon) and then you cross road and head back in direction you came in and its the first stop on the right) _ less than 1 hour either way from the airport.

The Hotel staff we lovely and check in was swift even though we were early (and our room wasnt ready) they locked our cases in the room and we came back a few hours later already checked in.

Breakfast was nice and we never had a problem getting a table even though the hotel was quite busy.

The room was spotless even though the balcony could have done with a brush but the wifi was a bit hit and miss.

The area was good with a lot of cheap bars and restaurants only a few minutes away and we would reconsider staying here if we returned to Budapest
