They accommodated a last minute change to my reservation. The staff was very helpful and polite, all spoke great English. The location of the hotel is great. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to many of the major attractions in Budapest. You can walk to the ruin pubs in the neighborhood within 5 to 10 minutes. My room was on the 7th floor, and I could see the palace from there.

We stayed at the queens for 5 Days whilst we had very cheap but first class dentistry carried out at the Innovative dental care 1037 Budapest.from what some have said in the past about breakfast only being continental has obviously changed as we were able to choose some cooked items such as scrambled egg, baked beans and smoked bacon.the staff are very helpful.tram service close by.the kitchen is adequate but no washing machine.we would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed in room facing courtyard nice and quiet.

We decided to stay here since the place looked new and it was a very short stumbling distance from most of the newer ruin-pubs that have started taking over the abandoned multi-story buildings/courtyards in the area. The suite we booked for around 100 euro had a large, comfortable bed, couches/lounge area, swiveling tv to reach the bed and the lounge area, large bathroom, and kitchen with refridgerator/appliances/cookware.
Getting here from the run-down Keleti rail station was a bit of a hike, and with no knowledge of the metro/bus system, we decided to just get a cab (which cost us a bit too much in my opinion...but it beat the heck out of hoofing it with heavy baggage).
Reception was extremely friendly. We got there very early, so they stowed our luggage until check-in and offered to let us change into new clothes and use the fitness center/pool area if we wanted to. They sold transportation cards at the front desk (which cover unlimited use of the metro, tram, and bus lines) and Budapest cards (covers transportation and offers free walking tours of Buda and Pest, free entry or discounts at all kinds of attractions, river cruises, thermal baths, etc)
Our room was on the first floor, overlooking the courtyard. The sound of the fountain at night was soothing with our windows open. The only knock on the place was the broken thermostat. It was virtually impossible to get the air conditioning going, which didn't present much of a problem until someone took a shower and all the humidity just stuck around in the entire room afterwards. Luckily the windows were pretty large and all of them opened fully. Hungary and other parts of Europe don't really use screens on their windows, so the open windows can let in insects, spiders, etc. We could have tried to get the thermostat fixed, but we really didn't care enough to mention it since we were only there for one night.
Bottom line: I would definitely stay here again when visiting Budapest, but i would make sure to stay for a few days next time to take full advantage of the kitchen area. For the younger night owls, this place is a perfect location/homebase for checking out the ruin-pubs in the area. Most of them are between 2-10 minutes walk from here, and are a unique type of pub that I've personally never experienced outside of Budapest. The Oktagon metro (underground) station is only a few blocks to the north on Andrassy krt, and that can take you to most of the major sights (or at least to a station and bus that will)

Room Tip: First floor suites do not have balconies

We have just returned from a three night stay at the Queens and would most definitely recommend it .Our friends booked the break and on arrival we were given rooms on the first floor overlooking the courtyard. The rooms were plenty big enough with a seating area, small kitchen area with microwave , fridge, cooker etc. good sized bathroom. It was nice and clean and the bed was comfy with two single quilts ( a good idea ) . We were booked on a room only basis , so did not try breakfast , but on our first night having arrived quite late we went straight into the "Chess" restaurant. The quality of food and service was excellent. As for the surrounding area , I can only assume it is like almost any other city in the world where some of the side streets are a bit scruffy, but we tried several café /bars and felt perfectly safe and welcome. We did not find the hotels location a problem at all . We bought a two day hop on - hop off bus ticket ( Giraffe tours ) which had stops within a five minute walk from the hotel and covered most of the city. The only minus points during our stay were small lapses in attention to detail such as not replenishing tissues in the bathroom and forgetting to leave a hand towel . Also the hotel does not supply tea in the rooms, only coffee, but overall we would recommend it to anybody. Budapest is a beautiful city and well worth a visit. I am sure we will return.

Room Tip: We had room 002 which overlooked the courtyard and was perfectly adequate.

Pros: I was upgraded (free of charge) to a Junior Suite which comes with a separate living room, fully equipped kitchen (full size refrigerator, small dishwasher, stove, oven and microwave), 1 bathroom, a master bedroom with a Queen size bed, and a smaller bedroom with a single bed. There is a wonderful pool to relax in. The enclosed patio area with a fountain is very nice to sit in and relax. The hotel provides slippers! Free wireless internet in room! Breakfast included in my room!!! The Staff at the Front Desk and in the restaurant for Breakfast were very helpful, courteous, friendly, great service all around.

Cons: It is off the beaten path, not on a Main Street, so you'll need to be the kind of traveler who's OK with that. The bathroom needs Clorox (bleach). It smelled of pee/urine even though the cleaning staff cleaned it everyday.

Hotel was clean and the rooms were big. We stayed for 4 nights. I would use this hotel again. Location is good, half a kilometer to the nearest metro station. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. Good value for the money!

Room Tip: We had windows to the yard side, it was good and silent.

This is a very nice Hotel
Clean and Tidy
A good location approximately 5mins walk to Octagon square where there is Metro, or about 20mins walk into city (Basilica), 30mins to River.
One issue we had was with the shower head which had a hole in the pipe and the wall hook would not stay up so we had to shower holding it. The shower tray was a stupid design with a lip such that any water hitting it flowed out of the shower (water marks on carpet outside the bathroom was evidence this caused lots of floods).
Otherwise the room was spacious with cooking, and lounge area and separate bedroom.

Breakfast was of good standard with a small selection cooked to order.
