The hotel offered all we needed for a short city brake in Budapest. Good sport, clean, nice and renovated rooms To the city centre you have 5-10 minutes on foot and all public transportation is just around the corner. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Parking is just across the street and it cost us 22€ for 3 days (2 nights), which was reasonable compared to other hotels that we were also looking. The only thing we didn't really like was the breakfast. It was just OK. There a shopping mall just next door and few restaurants where you can get a good bite (Kompot restaurant).

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, flat screen TV, nice bathroom with good shower, make-up mirror, good lighting, and good towels. Rooms also have a mini-bar/fridge so you can put your things in that need to be refrigerated. Hotel is in a good location right next to Corvin shopping mall that also has a CBA supermarket, and hotel is about 3-4 blocks from a metro stop and trams.

My complaints:

Room and hallways were so hot with the heating, it was close to intolerable, and my biggest complaint is the breakfast. "Croissants" were from cheap packaged imitation croissants purchased at the grocery store (they were not very good), a few rolls that were set out in a basket were hard as rocks (obviously not fresh, not even day old), no butter... only margarine, and a few apples and oranges but no bananas. They offered me one they found in the kitchen that was so overripe, it was black. Give me a break.

Overall a nice little hotel with friendly and helpful front desk staff, but it's not a 4 star hotel as advertised; more like a very nice 3 star. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired and they can do much better. Ended up going out for a real cup of coffee.

Easy access to sites in the city and next to the Corvin Plaza for shopping and good choice of restaurants. It is clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. Really good lighting in the bathroom for makeup! We were disappointed that the under sheets on the beds were too small and rucked up without much encouragement! It is also inconvenient that there appears to be a policy of one room card per party. However we will be going back to the city and would stay here again.

Room Tip: rooms at the back are very quiet

Very nice budget hotel in a good location. Comfortable beds, clean room, big flat panel TV with lots of channels, small fridge in room, big bathroom with big thick towels and hair dryer, and good A/C.

Hotel is in a very good location near metro and trams, as well as a really nice shopping mall that has a supermarket just a few steps from the hotel. Also, many shops, cafes, and restaurants in the area. Downtown Budapest and the Danube are about 10 minutes away by metro.

Two complaints: 1. My room had no nightstands next to either of the two beds which I found to be very inconvenient. 2. I had asked for a very early wake-up call in order to catch an early flight, but didn't get the wake-up call. Fortunately, I set my cell phone alarm as a back-up which woke me up.

Small rooms but overall a nice hotel at budget prices and friendly staff.

The location is close to the blue line of the Metro (within 7 minutes of walking of the nearest station, Ferenc Kôrút), there are also convenient restaurants and a multi-level modern mall on the same street. If you aren't willing to take the Metro expect a 40 minute walk to downtown attractions (Deak Ferenc Ter) or have to take a taxi. The front desk staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful in explaining how to get to your destinations. The rooms are comfortable and ours included a safe and refrigerator which we stocked with bottles of water, etc. Our room was isolated from sounds coming through the walls but we could hear the door slams and hallway conversations of nearby guests arriving or leaving. The buffet breakfast was very good for the most part with the exception of the watered down "juice" from the dispensing machine. Our hotel price was part of an overall package from EuropeanDestinations, so I can't comment on the daily cost but I'm sure it was much more reasonable than hotels within easy walking distance of the city center or on the Buda side of the city. If I ever went back to Budapest I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
