Our three night stay at the City Inn, Budapest was brilliant. Service, accomodation, cleanliness, location, value for money and breakfast were all excellent. The staff could not have been more friendly and were keen to make our stay a weekend to remember. Give Budapest and this hotel a try and you won't be disappointed. It's an amazing city.

Stayed three nights at this hotel. Easy to get to from the airport, a bus and metro ride away. It is a fair walk to the towncentre, or a quick metro ride away. We also walked and got the number 2 tram to town, which has good views over the Danube River. It is across the road from the Hollocaust Museum, and close to a shopping centre with a supermarket.

The breakfast was very good, and we had good wifi signal on the 5th floor. The hotel was modern and clean/tidy decor. The bathroom and bedroom was spacious. We struggled with the room temperature and had to have the window open, which was noisy. The beds weren't overly comfortable, and the showergel, was actually handsoap. The maids visited daily and made the beds up, although they didn't clean/ empty the bins.

We had a very friendly welcome on our arrival and they allowed us to check in early as the room was ready. The receptionist gave us a map and highlighted key sites/restuarant areas to visit.

For a budget hotel to explore Budapest, it is a good option.

I would recommend this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and pretty big. The staff was helpful. It is located close to the subway station, but the center of city is within walking distance. And everything for very reasonable prices.

Just returned home after 2 nights at this hotel. Superb! Hotel very clean and well maintained. Rooms very comfortable. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Other reviews suggest an average breakfast but I take issue with those. The selection of food on offer was very wide and the quality excellent. All in all excellent value for money with the added bonus of an extremely convenient location. Have recommended this hotel to family and friends. Say no more!

Stayed here one night on a business trip. It was a great value room rate, with clean and modern bedroom. Bathroom was particularly nice. Distinctly average buffet breakfast and patchy WiFi on the first floor. Overall recommended for budhet business travel or short stay tourism.

The hotel was great. Centrally located, handy for the metro, trams and corvin shopping centre. Local landmarks nearby including the holocaust memorial museum, which is definitely worth a visit. Breakfast was ok, a mixture of traditional Hungarian fayre, scrambled eggs, sausages and cereals and pastries. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Budapest. You get what you pay for, and what we paid for was excellent. Thanks.
