We got here the second it opened and left only when it closed. There’s plenty here for kids - water slides, wave pool, lazy river, fountains etc - and for adults (underwater seating and bubbles). There is also a n outdoor gym, play area, and the option to get a massage or therapy.
The water in the majority of pools is over 30 degrees and there are two thermal pools as well.
There are free sun loungers and lockers and although they do get taken early there’s also plenty of room for picnic blankets and beach shelters.
You need to take your own towel and flip flops. The web site said you need a swimming cap but the help desk told us that’s only if you want to swim in the sports pool.
There’s a good selection of food and drinks including a cocktail bar (didn’t try it but the menu looks good). It’s a bit more costly than the town, but still decent prices - and the entry fee is definitely a bargain.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Surprisingly considering we went on a sunny day in the school holidays (albeit a weekday) it was busy but not crowded - no queues for the slides or for food.
Everything you could want for a summer’s day really!
