Tucked away in a side street in Pest you could almost walk past these old Turkish style baths. Yes, the building is very old fashioned, but this adds to the charm.
The largest pool is circular and under a dome, with 2 smaller pools round the edges of varying temperature (temperatures of all pools displayed), plus a steam room, and additional pool.
Small Jacuzzi in another area and a very cosy hot tub in the garden/courtyard.
Showers and toilets are 'communal' - showers are in cubicles, toilets in a unisex area with cubicles on one side and screen off urinals on the other.
Flip flops mandatory (as in all Budapest spas) but no need for swimming caps.
Excellent value for money - change out of £17 based on the current exchange rate for 2 people with cabins - about half the price of the other baths/spas in Budapest.
Staff helpful and friendly. We did not have massage.

Was looking forward to relaxing, but so loud! Interesting experience, but would not recommend this place!

Those little baths have a unique charm. I kept on watching the ottoman structure...People there are also nice Unfortunately steam bath and sauna were closed the day I was there. There are not all the facilities you can find in other bigger structures, but I loved it: "less is more"! Maybe the structure need a little renovation, but it was ok to me.

I imagined a quiet, spa-like experience. The baths are quite crowded, and because of the acoustics, rather loud. We also had massages at Kiraly which was nice after our long flight from Los Angeles. I think I would prefer a smaller, quieter bath off the beaten track.

Great little bath house in Budapest. Although this is small, it’s the perfect place to go if you want to have a relaxing time in the baths. No kids allowed and it’s not full of tourists, a lot more locals. Couldn’t fault the place, yes it’s old and appears a bit dodgey, it’s very nice.
Only thing is I felt I was being watched by a young guy cleaning the change rooms so didn’t feel safe when putting valuables in the locker. It turned out okay, but just a bit uncomfortable.
