Fabulous Budapest was recommended to us by the owner of the apartment we were going to stay at in Budapest. We really did not have much time before we left the US so it was a perfect fit when I saw the tours she offered on her website. I called her directly and she was incredibly helpful and was able to workout our schedule over the phone. She also helped us with the ticket purchase of the places we were going to visit. She was always in touch with me prior to the arriving at Budapest and everything was arranged perfectly when we arrived. We ended up arriving late for our Parliament tour and she was very helpful in getting us in, that was such a life saver. She is incredibly personable, very organized and very flexible during our tour. She really made our trip highly enjoyable and would have her again when I visit next time.

Zsofi si probably one of the best guides have ever worked with
she is attentive, interactive, creative and unique. The walking tour we took was informative and very detailed. She is a joy to interact with and keeps you captivated about the surroundings and the facts that related to the places you visit.
Also allowed you to understand the culture, the roots and the peoples beliefs in their ancestry and place within central Europe.
If you are visiting Budapest Zsofi is your guide, highly recommend her and will definetely keep in contact with her for future trips.
Budapest just looks al little different with Zsofi's input.

Our group was delighted with the experience. We visited beautiful galleries, some of them were also Auction houses getting ready for a mayor sale of very famous paintings and sculptures. We browsed through all kinds of beautiful and unique items, from Zsolnay and Herend porcelains to folk art furniture. We entered places to admire their display of classic style paintings, as well as shops specialized in Art Nouveau furniture and ornaments.

I really recommend that you take this tour, either individually or with a group you will enjoy discovering the secret treasure hidden around Budapest!

I highly recommend Fabulous Budapest. Zsófi was very helpful and quick to respond before our trip - she even assisted in restaurant reservations when i couldn't get a response from the restaurant via email. Two of the restaurants we chose for unscheduled nights (puli and ring) were also her recommendations. She also arranged our private walking guide and tailored our tour according to our desire to see an overview all in one day. Juli, our guide, was fabulous! Knowledgeable, candid, tailoring sites and length based on our interests. We spent 7 hours exploring the Jewish district, pest, old buda, castle district and even enjoying a leisurely lunch at the streusel house. Felt we were getting an insider, locals view of the city and its history. Juli was so personable, I was sad to say goodbye. I definitely recommend using fabulous Budapest for your walking tour in Budapest.

I took my management team of totally 9 persons to Budapest for a meeting and some sight-seeing. For a Sunday afternoon we would like to see some of the city, but not the official tourist guide version. Zsofi took us on a 3,5 hours walk around Pest, from our hotel to the city center.
We stopped many places during the walk and learned a lot in a very entertaining way. Zsófi told us stories from Roman history, something from the second World War, then something from the Communist time and some stories from Budapest today. The stories were filled with humor and digital illustrations on the pad. Zsófi was easy to understand, so language or traffic noise was no problem.
We made a stop to taste the local wine spritzer, fröccs, and we stopped at a local chocolade factory. Zsófi shoved us the Hungarian alphabet in a very interesting way. We looked at buildings and rooftops as well as ruins in the ground. It was a very entertaining tour without too many historic dates and names of old kings - just the way we wanted it. We feel that we know the Hungarian people better now and a little part of Budapest. Zsófi - thank you and we will come back to your lovely city!
